I've seen nobody point out why Tenna's first line "My contract only allows so many swears!" is so good. It's a reference to the often repeated criticism of Hazbin Hotel that it overuses swears and relies on them as a crutch.

Oh Tenna absolutely COOKED Vox. Especially in his last two verses.

Firstly, Tenna was pointing out that he went through pretty much the exact situation Vox did with Alastor. But while Vox is still obsessed with Al to this day, Tenna has mostly been able to move on with his life, and even embarrassed and one-upped Spamton when he showed up.

Then the different cultures and broads in casts line. Tenna is basically calling out Vox for both simultaneously being racist, while also trying to steal different cultures to boost himself up. Then the broads in casts line is about Vox's history of using and abusing female stars.

Vox had the better first verse, but he got eaten alive through the entire rest of the battle. Tenna takes this.

"You can't take the win like you take different cultures" is an instant win

"The second rap battle that you won't be winning" line Is a reference to the stayed gone song.

The line of were vox said that he doesn't stream gay shit on the holidays is a reference to Noelle who's a lesbian

Tenna absolutely fried Vox out here

8:52 That face just screamed "it's wraps" lmao

the fact tenna cooked vox without insults

I swear, deltarune characters have a 100% win rate in rap battles

As someone very familiar with both medias, Tenna takes this hella

Tennas bars were genuinely NASTYYYY he won 1000%

TV with emotional trauma vs TV with a God complex. spoiler alert: the TV guy wins.

edit: i just realised that when Tenna says TV slop he's referencing the item from deltarune.

as far as i can tell theres no double on the Audience of Three line. hes just saying Tenna sucks as an entertainer, especially since, for a brief moment, Vox's audience was the entire population of hell

little fun fact: the voice of vox in the rap battle is one of the people from slashests discord rap battles, to be exact yuki won both dissbattles and is the main rapper of the absoulute banger caution :)

Vox I love you but Tenna cooked you so badly

I'm pretty sure "Broadcasts put broads in casts" is leaning towards abuse of the young women on Vox's shows, which was demonstrated in the song "Trust Us" and Valentino's... existence

this guy sounds like an asmr channel

Today is my birthday and THIS came out.

Tv slop is an item in deltarune

"Your alastor because your nothing without your staff, your alastor because im about to kick your ahh" this was basically a small insult but not that effective: vox was saying tenna is nothing without his crew, "staff" is another word for crew. But vox cant be talking considering alastor in season two literally was injured without his staff and no diff'd vox, vox had all the the things he needed but still lost. He and alastor in the first season literally did a rap battle in the first season but vox lost. That would also be another jab at where tenna said "this is the second rap battle that you won't be winning".

"You take your insecurities and air them live" this should count more of an attack on vox (since hes the one saying it and again he still cant be talking) because literally that was in the first season mind you.

"What a stupid verse, this sad piece of garbage ducks his problems worse then lucifer" again, i have to make this clear, if lucifer was not in a contract, vox would be wishing he didnt say that lol.

"Cut cut cut, Mike Dont Let that Air!!! My Contract only allows so much swears" now this was a jab: hazbin is known for swearing too much, tenna runs a show that if a single swear (except for a$$ because the word came from a donkey but whatever) then obviously hes gonna be censored. Keep in mind vox has swore six times in the first verse which i find hilarious 😂

"When its tv time, dont get you're news from vox, if you're looking for the truth you should tune to fox!" No hes not saying fox news. Hes saying toby fox, toby fox is the creator of undertale and deltarune (pretty much saying "im praising the one who created this" in a sentence. Also take down fox news that shi is bullshi-)

But anyways, tenna slammed vox without having to swear :p
