Thanks for stopping by everyone. Hope you've enjoyed this more slow paced offering in the absence of a mad one (Which I fully intent to make up for in the coming months btw!)

Quick note on my relationship with alcohol because I didn't really explain it properly out of fear of boring you. I don't actually drink that much these days. One or two pints on a Wednesday night, a 3 or 4 on the weekend and maybe 6 big piss ups a year. The problem is it makes me really fucking ill the next day, but I also get a good buzz off it too. It gives me a strong dopamine hit and I had become reliant on it for a good time.

On a happier note, our second baby daughter is now with us! Mother and baby nice and healthy☺

Life is sweet at this moment in time. Slightly tiring, but sweet.

I took your advice. I jumped in my car, drove to the lake district, and summited Scafell Pike by myself. It is the first time I've ever done anything like it, and it was one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. The sheer sense of achievement when I reached the top was immense. I don't think I would have had the confidence to do it without watching your videos which have seriously piqued my sense of adventure this year.

Hello mate not sure you’ll see this comment but I just wanna let you know that my wife left me this time last year. I was absolutely devastated and I found myself unemployed completely broken and questioning whether there was any point continuing. I came across your videos during this period and you helped me through those dark winter months and now I go out on loads of walks to clear my head and to look after my mental health. This is solely down to you thank you so much.

I wish you would do more of these "regular walks". These paths you took were so gorgeous and seem so accessible to an outsider. This is a journey I feel like I could take (given better weather), and very much would want to take before I die.

As someone who has to admit to taking every drug under the sun and drinking like there’s no tomorrow for decades of my life nothing is as good as just being completely sober. I haven’t so much as had a sip of wine for years and the clarity of thought I have, the ability to absorb information, the willingness to socialise, the passion to plan and do things has never been stronger. You’re a better person sober and better for everyone else around you. The idea of being drunk or high now is something that doesn’t even cross my mind. I honestly can’t see any good reason to alter my mind state.
