How she delivered the punchlines like they were shot from a machine gun is beyond me.  She is the fastest thinking comedian I’ve ever seen. Incredible talent.

Her gift was making people laugh and she took that seriously.

When Joan loses it, and Johnny plays off of that, it's pure comedic genius. Tears of laughter. Joan was so adorable. I miss her so much.

So before a show she reviewed her material that she collected over the decades.  So was it rehearsed ? NO.  She was Prepared.   IMO the fact that she catalogued her jokes is a reason why she lasted so long as a comedian because she had a GREAT Work ethic  IMO
