I am five foot two. The struggle is real with our clothes making us look even shorter. I am short waisted as well, so that presents some problems. I like the idea of a cropped cardigan.

When I make hexicardis, i only make the original hexigans wide enough to fit my arms. For the rest, I add to the back and to the length.

I saw a hexagon cardigan done in the linen stitch.  It was really pretty.

As a short, round guy looking to make myself some sweaters, I appreciate the sizing tips-- oversized is cozy, and I do like that, but if the fit on the sleeves is too big, then I just wind up feeling like a child playing dress-up in grandpa's closet...
If I were making this for one of the cottagecore/hippie girlies in my life, though, I love the idea of going cropped and maybe having a wrap/tie closure to bring it in in the front a little, and using a tie and tassel to add visual interest back in after going monochromatic... Honestly, you're giving me a ton of ideas that wouldn't work on me but would look great on other people I know who share my struggles with sizing and proportions.

I especially like you encouraging people to work at customizing their projects... so many proficient people never bother to think about it and i think it makes a huge difference!

Looks great.  Love the modifications you made-not as boxy as typical hexi cardigan and really love the sleeves.

as a plus size girlie myself ive found that blocking my stiff yarn creations really helps the cardigans feel more comfortable and less bulky when wearing them
