I dumped my heavy Canon gear and got an om-1 mk ii and went all in on the amazing m. Zuiko 150-400 lens. Happier than ever.

Interesting observations on the OM system. I am a medium format user but love the features of the OM cameras. Thanks!

Hi Ian, another great video. One feature that not too many talk about is the 'Handheld Assist' found on the first page of the menu I think. It's well worth checking out as you can get some really long exposures handled for example at night or in a very low light situation. This is in addition to the already class leading stabilisation. It's worth checking out. Keep up the great work!

After being along time Olympus/Om system user I switched to Sony. I like my Sony, but I don't love it like I loved my OM-1. IMO many of the FF camera's are one trick ponies. What they do they do well. But Sony, Canon and Nikon are all missing out not spending a little RND to add computational features to their camera's. Olympus was first with so many things that the BIG 3 copied. But for whatever reason the computational features were not part of them. I miss pro capture, the live ND, and Live Composite. I visited the Smoky Mountains last year. I never used my Sony at all. It was rainy for most of the trip and I do not trust the Sony weather sealing like I did my OM-1. I hiked down to some falls and rivers and used the ND filter handheld with incredible results. Very underrated system.

You should take a shot of that stairway of rocks in a vertical composition.

Lovely video - some nice weather and stunning light in the UK this week, stunning location too!

Stunning scenery and images. I've noticed that some of your locations are pretty remote and quite possibly lack a mobile phone signal. Have you ever considered buying a satellite communicator to work in conjunction with your mobile phone. If you fell and broke a leg and didn't have a mobile phone signal a satellite communicator could save your life. I purchased a Zoleo for when I go backpacking "off grid" but there are other makes. Seriously worth thinking about. Cheers.

Another enjoyable video Ian.
Definitely a beach with those fantastic rocks is worth a few visits to photograph.
Great image's as usual mate.
Catch you on the next one.

OM-1 MK II works well for me. Live ND and GND are my most often used features. Awesome spot for photography. Tfs

Lovely seascapes Ian. Very happy to see you enjoying the M43 system from time to time. I use M43 but don’t have the latest cameras with the CP modes which look both fun & extremely useful.

GNDs also help with mountain/hilltops when you have a straight edge where the light is hitting the top part of the image at sunrise or sunset. One can also bracket those shots, however, there is a satisfaction getting it all in camera.
