Hikaru - basically a human super computer.
4:08 also Hikaru - counts squares one by one.

I didn’t know that Hikaru was a famous landmark in Berlin. The more you know

Hikaru: gets stabbed
Also Hikaru: Good one, very good one, i liked this one too

4:50 Magnus can think 20 moves ahead but not 2 words ahead

4:08
Hikaru: One of the greatest chess players of all time

Also Hikaru: Forgets what comes after five in English and switches languages instead

4:09 Proceeds to count in English
4:10 Stops himself and recounts in Japanese
???????

6:30 the magician he’s referring to played 9 chess games at once. 8 were IMs or GMs,  and one was the president of the local chess club.  Half of his opponents were white and half were black. So by remembering what everyone played, he effectively had his opponents play each other. The only person he actually played against ( and beat) was the club president.

-“Ok I have the queen now. What do I do?”
-“sacrifice her”

Hikaru was so embarrassed that he ended the video

I honestly want hikaru to become the WC. Imagine the memes !

I also had a playboy when I was a kid, but it got confiscated.

4:10 Thanks Hikaru, i learned Japanese counting from 1 to 10. Another skill in my books

I feel like if I told a bad joke, Hikaru would laugh just to make me feel better

Hikaru can only count in Japanese

0:26 Seeing this after the baby announcement....makes it funnier....

Hikaru’s subconscious mind is really powerful. It manages to spit out what he’s thinking.
“PLAYBOY”
🤣🤪😜💯👍👍👍

Imagine how bad it is chess in real life, like imagine just trading you wife, a frickin bishop a horse and a moving tower

Edit : While the other kingdom is trading some spice and trading material, here in chess we trade our wife, our bishop, a few horses and tower

1:01
Pawn = Juicer
King = Juicer
Queen = Juicer
Bishop = Juicer
Rook = Juicer

How does a GM go from being just another GM to being a Very Special GM. ? .Well that's easy...Just be Hikaru ...I am 71 year old chess player  and hang out at Coffee Chess and as a GM ..Hikaru was just another GM to me ...but when he took up their offer to show up and what he has done since is a tribute to this young extremely  talented young man's character and love of the game  ...And for that to me,  he is Very Special  ..And I want to say a collective thank you for all those you and your game have touched...God Bless You...

4:10 It was in this position that Hikaru started to Flex his Japanese.
