The issues with western diet include:

- Long work hours means not enough time to cook a decent meal - convenience will always win

- People aren't taught how to turn vegetables, beans and pulses into satisfying and tasty meals. Seasoning is important

- Most diets are just a temporary fix, it's about making permanent lifestyle changes

- When it comes to healthy eating and food shopping, it's you against the big companies. You have to be diligent and pursue balance

Why are jounralists like Michael not asking questions about the route cause of ill health? the fact here is that even if we think we're buying healthy when in actuality we're not. Because businesses and corporations are skimping on nutritional and ingredients in foods and goods to make a higher profit. Yes some people buy bad food, but even healthy food isn't healthy by design.

The legacy is here. Thank you Michael ❤ technically, the less demand, the less products in the store. Imagine all those buying processed food not buying anymore. Shutting of many work places. But trends need to change, now!

In this country we need health education in our schools. In our tvs, we need to begin cutting down on the amount of UPF food we are advertising and selling.

My problem isn't processed food in the trolley, it's getting a takeaway while telling myself I'll be good tomorrow 😅

What you don’t want to do though is suddenly switch from an UPF diet to completely clean with lots of veggies/legumes etc introduce them gradually so you don’t get a very bad belly!
