This was probable the best induction ceremony/ performance I’ve ever seen. This was beautiful. I wish the camera quality and sound was a bit better but it still was 🔥

Eminem decided to mention and talk about every other rapper instead of talking about himself…what a legend

I'm glad we got to see him inducted while he's still active and more importantly still with us. He deserves this moment 🐐

"High School dropout with a hip-hop education and those were my teachers. Because it's as much their night as it is mine". Sheesh.

The fact that, at his own induction ceremony, he preformed a whole set and dedicated half his speech to paying homage really shows where his priorities are. This man IS hip-hop

@mrspgp 3 years ago

he is the only artist to ever put together a list of influences in correct abc order, it almost sounded like a rap lol

Had goosebumps! A well deserved honor for Eminem and he's not even done yet! THE GOAT!

I was there just a few nights ago! 🙌 The whole ceremony was such a fun and cool experience, but I was there for Eminem. I had never seen him live before, and I wanted to make sure I was able to do so at least once…so I made it happen. 😂 He did not disappoint. He brought great energy and the crowd was hyped, and he sounded great. Dre’s speech was perfect. The appearances by Steven Tyler and Ed Sheeran were unexpected and wonderful. And Em’s speech afterward was what I’ve come to learn is quintessentially him - all about giving credit to everyone who has influenced him.

This was spectacular! Love it! Eminem doing a medley was so unexpected! He basically did a concert! Dre's speech was great! But Eminems speech took the biggest piece of humble pie! Only artistic genius I know that spent the greater portion of his speech thanking those that came before him and in alphabetical order!!! "It took a genre and a culture to raise me"! I've watched it a few times now and it still gets to me...🥺 So awesome that LL Cool J gave Eminem his necklace! I know I'm lucky to have been here for Eminems entire journey and I look forward to what he will do next! 🐐 So glad you are still here with us! AOD!!!! Thank you Cliff....for being you! ❤

I’m 48 years old and I’m telling you (this was my era) when Eminem’s 2nd album came out (Marshall Mathers LP) that shook up the entire music industry, you had parents protesting Eminem wanting his album removed from record stores, the gay community was coming after him etc and to this day it’s considered one of Eminem’s best work and I agree, you can play that album now and it still sounds fresh!

So fucking happy for him bro been rocking with him since i was 5 years old never turned my back on him his music saved my life he deserves it man #GOAT

Em doesn't seem to like any good things said about him. Dude is super humble, using his platform to speak for the legends. The legends deserve their day in the HOF. Thanks for the decades of dope shit Em

As a life long metal head, and a white kid from the the suburbs Em was my first real introduction to hip-hop back in the late 90's early 2000's. The MMLP was the first hip-hop album I ever bought, and I'm so happy to see him in the HOF. He more than earned his place there.

Em totally deserves this induction not only he changed billions of lives and help them on their dark times but the rap scene and pave the way for future rappers and gave them a voice to be heard. He could of gave up back in the late 90s but thanks to Dre, he signed him and gave him a chance to show us what he is made off and give him a chance when loads of people didn't just because he was white

He is 🐐. ❤he is the most humble MC ever❤

@veysey2243 3 years ago

Couldn't agree more cliff. Eminem is the goat 🙌 Humble despite all the success he's had. Hates any praise he'd rather talk about others

From someone who's watched Eminem come up from jump to now,I'm so happy to see him finally get the recognition he deserves. He's always been and will continue to be the GOAT in my eyes. Congratulations to Eminem/slim shady/ Marshall Mathers

@magsxoa4519 3 years ago

The blessing is him being alive thru all of this. Much deserved Marshall.

Seeing Em clapping during Dre's speech cracked me up, he looks like that awkward kid we all know who doesn't grasp the gravity of what's going on 🤣 his face, blank expression clapping like he doesn't know why or feels awkward clapping for his accolades but feels pressured to cause he would stand out if he didn't clap along, Just me? As far as I'm concerned Em deserved this and and and he ripped the stage like no other inductee imo, the crowd was flat until he took the stage
