One of, if not the greatest rapper of all time Marshall Mathers aka Eminem has had one hell of a ride... to say the least. In this documentary, I showcase how he rose to fame all the way from when he was born. It took me a really long time to make this video, and I'm extremely proud of it. It was alot of work but I'm so excited to put it out to the world. I learned so much about Eminem's life and even discovered music I've never heard before. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do :)

Proof was such a real friend to Eminem, I’m glad that they were able to reap the benefits of their hard work together for the few years… rip proof.

Eminem is a LYRICAL GENIUS PERIOD!!!!!!!!! Almost 30 year career in rap and he's buried quite a few other big name rappers with just his words... He made MGK go to a whole other genre. He just keeps getting better and better with no sign of slowing down anytime soon. STAN is absolutely BRILLIANT and so is the way he thinks about music. He did his homework on the OGs to hone his craft with nothing but respect. Eminem is top 5 in my book along with Proof, Ice T, Tupac, and Kendrick Lamar. I'm a 52 year old white woman and I'm no expert on rap music, but I did grow up listening to, loving, and respecting it. I grew up listening to Eazy E, Biggie, NWA, Run DMC, Tupac, Kool Moe Dee, Slick Rick, Ice T, who doesn't get enough credit for arguably Jay Z's biggest hit, 99 Problems, LL Cool J, Queen Latifah, Beastie Boys, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, 2 Live Crew, Big Pun, and the list goes on. Just a lifelong fan.

Hot take: I think Rainman is actually one of Ems best songs.

This is a man so high on drugs that he cannot even think of any coherent theme for a song, yet the structure and rhymes are still WAY beyond what most rappers do at their very best. Just goes to show how skilled he is.

The song is also just really damn funny.

This was extremely well put together thank you so much for the time and effort you put into creating this. I have actually been listening to Eminem a lot recently since the month of September began. I’ve been watching a lot of his interviews from his career early on up until now. When I ran across this in the algorithm, it was just right on time.

FINALLY. been a fan of Eminem officially 20 years. His music will always impact my life 🔥

Also I forgot to mention, the only thing really missing from that documentary is his relationship with Royce & D12 as his career evolved over the years. Royce was Em's first hype man when he signed with Dre in march 98, at the time he was not really speaking to D12 members. Want proof? When he re recorded "Low, Down Dirty" in 98 for the Slim Shady LP, he replaced the line "Is D12 really smoking?" with "Is Outsidaz really smoking?" he shouted out the Outsidaz and Royce throughout the whole album, but no D12... Royce signed with Aftermath when Em signed in march 98 but later quit himself after Dre had clashed with his manager at the time (Kino) so Royce remained Em's hype man from 98 until MTV Spring Break 1999 when they performed My Name Is, Proof came to become Eminem's hype man right after that
