I grew up LDS (Mormon) and the ending of that episode was perfect. I had such an issue with the doctrine, but nobody seemed to care. They were just happy with their lives and felt they needed that religion to live that way. My brother ended up in Africa on his mission, same as my grandparents and we lived in Utah. The episode was perfect and felt unbelievably relatable.

Dammit, the Dutch are not Danish and Denmark is not the Netherlands and Holland is a province.

It was Jyllands-Posten, a Danish newspaper, that published the cartoons.

People try to claim that these guys are fencesitters but they were openly pro-gay marriage in their content in the 90s. That takes a certain level of conviction

I have never really been offended by South Park. The only thing if anything that disappointed me about them was when they didn't believe in climate change because I happen to be growing up next to an environmental science campus and know a lot of scientists that had a lot to say on the matter and eventually it all started happening. Team America was hilarious I resent being associated with people that would whining that.
