Scott looked for a simple method for joints that gave the free movement he wanted, strong ,easy to make, and cheap.
He saw plastic chain at the hardware store and thought it was worth a shot. It met all the criteria. They even functioned correctly for movement. They can be used with wood, resin, you name it.
He simply takes a link, cuts it, drills hole, or however you want it attached, and CA glue, or epoxy, and you have a fantastic joint.
The plastic links also can be used as arms if you want loose arms.
