Seve was such a gentleman when he put the jacket on Ben and Ben was such a gentlemen receiving it. I'm one of your biggest fans that's the best thing I ever heard from a recipient of the jacket.

Seve was just the personification of the positives of masculinity. That’s one dude I really wish got to live to old age.  I would have loved to have seen him wandering around Augusta in his 70’s and 80’s.

This era is just so magical. The persimmon woods, the blade putters, the tanto knife style forged irons. Crenshaws makes two of the best putts ever at Augusta within 5 holes. I can't remember many to ever make a putt from that position to the hole location at 10, and the second putt on 14 is massively underrated. Such a great tournament, this really was peak golf.

Crenshaw has played some of the finest rounds in masters history

No hat, Sansabelt trousers, the Wilson 8802, and the persimmon driver.  This, to me, is golf.   The athletes are fantastic today but are a bit robotic.

First time you got to see more of the Front 9.

Man! These announcers were the BEST...way better than today's Masters' coverage.

Love hearing Ken Venturi. He tells what a player should do.

love the classic mid 80s look.  No hat, very few logos, sansabelts.

Interesting to see Faldos swing before he made all those changes

So many things right with golf back then.

Seve,  the Legend, and Calvin Peete.  Loved that guy.

Interesting, how hard it was to break through for black golfers back in the 60's, 70's and 80', yet we had some great black golfers back then.  Lee Elder, Jim Thorpe and Calvin.  Loved watching all of them play great golf, even with the struggles they had to go through.

The greatest Masters I ever witnessed was in 1986 when Jack Nicklaus went on a tear on the back nine.

Faldo said when Crenshaw made his second putt on 14 he said it was the greatest putt under pressure he ever saw. He said after that putt he knew what it took to win at Augusta. To me if you looked at those swings…tempo and rhythm was HUGE……probably because of persimmon woods

They lost the coverage of Ben making birdie on 12 and Tom blowing up on 12.

I wsa born on this year. What a great watch

Who would have know that Watson & Seve would never win again here, yet Faldo would go on to win three times.

Frank Glieber with a "Yes Sir" as Crenshaw birdies 8.  Glieber was at 17 for years thru '85 when he died shortly after the Masters that year.  Verne took over 17 the next year and gave his famous "Yes Sir" when Jack birdied....a call Glieber would have had except for his untimely death.  A wow moment watching this.

Being only 25 I always wish I could have experienced a time like this. So much more peaceful

Calvin Peete looks and sounds like a total badass

One week after this Faldo would win at Hilton Head
