Suga wrote outro tear for the members during the time they were thinking about disbanding. When Suga played it for them they started crying.

As someone who’s witness so what live it does get that hyped up. In my opinion its one of their best songs to perform in concert, everyone always gets so hyped!

Tear kills me every time. I still don't know how they can get on stage and perform that song without breaking down.  To share all that vulnerability with us was something that I truly think made them and ARMY closer than ever.  To throw all their feelings out there and for us to know how deeply they were contemplating splitting up....But they didn't, and they are stronger than ever. To really see how much being with each other means to them. Every time I listen to it, I see new nuances and meanings. The story goes that when Suga played this for all the members they all just sat and cried. What a way to end the album.

They tend to save So What for "ARMY time" which is when they drop the choreo and fancy clothes and just have fun, talk to ARMY and round off the concert. It's one of my favorite things because they totally let loose and just become their glorious, adorable selves. 😂💜

Is it "tear" or "tear"? Yes! Both. Tear as in cry. Tear as in tear apart.

So What is one of my top HAPPY songs! And Outro Tear....is one of my top 3 BTS songs. The emotions....the performance, the lyrics....the reason it was written.....blows me away every single time. And JHope's verse at the end makes my eyes wet every single time. One of the rap lines best live performances for me. x

"So What": Leave it to BTS to have a strong message even in a club banger! This was the encore of the Love Yourself tour - what a blast, even better live like so many of their songs. "Tear": So powerful and painful, I get chills every single time I hear it. On the LY tour, they performed this right after the vocal line did "The Truth Untold". Imagine?!

Suga wrote the melody. They cried together the first time he played it for them. Each rap line member wrote their own verse.

The difference between both songs, one of the happiest and saddest songs of BTS.

Hobi's rap in Outro: TEAR was the deciding factor for me in what kind of seats I was willing to pay for, for the LY:SY tour.  Floor seats, both nights. I HAD to see that man come for my neck at close range!

Geez Pat, from one extreme to another. So What is so hype, positive message, encouraging...then Outro:TEAR  is BTS at one of the lowest points, thinking of disbanding, overwhelmed by their success and scared of the future. Both of these songs are in my top 5 songs from BTS for different reasons. This album was epic‼️

What i love about bts is when you see their live performance you see how they love their craft , their passion show and they love flowing towards them and army just make it more beautiful and you really see how much they love to be on stage and they were meant to be there 🥹🥺💜

Being in a stadium full of people screaming “SO WHAT!!!!” Was one of the highlights of seeing them in person. So cathartic and one of the most fun parts of the show! 💜💜💜

Outro: Tear gets me every time. I know others have explained the reason for the song, but you can still feel the pain of that time in their lives when they perform it. I think we sometimes forget what an amazing performer and rapper RM is. We focus on him being the leader and his beautiful lyrics, which he's great at. But he's also astounding on stage.

“So what” is one of my all time favs….especially LIVE.  “Outro:TEAR” ALWAYS makes me cry my eyes out..especially after watching Break The Silence and watching them talk about the disbanding discussions.  It makes me hurt for the 7 of them, for me, and all the people who would have missed out on the once in a lifetime awesomeness that is BTS.  😢. So glad that decided to stay together (and even happier that Suga wrote this heartfelt song and let the guys hear it to know how he was feeling ❤)

JUNGKOOK always slays this live.....both vocally and visually....it suits his superstar aura and his cool demeanor....
