In my opinion she should have been walking beside her son, now King, instead of behind him.  She deserved that honor still at this time.  She is so tired from all of this.  I do understand though. It is protocol. As an American I send my deepest condolences to the Royal family esp & to the beautiful people of Norway. Home to my beloved grandpa. 💕💞😢🤗🌹🇳🇴💔
