How can China and India Fix Their Football Programs?

Just to be clear. Cape Verde and Curaçao are just doing smart scouting. Because of historical migration and colonization, thousands of elite footballers born in Portugal or the Netherlands have parents or grandparents from Cape Verde or Curaçao. Identifying these players and convincing them to play for their heritage country is 100% legal, regulated and encouraged by FIFA. There's no cheating or scandal.

Its not about an physique or physical build that stops or makes u a good player for the most part its mainly about ur skill and what playstyle ur club, national team or league plays while the best players can play in any system the majority struggle to do so, so while a player might not be good in the spanish league he will be in the premier league or the bundesliga or a different club in the league because its suits their playstyle more

6:06 It depends on the position, when it comes to goalkeepers, center-backs and strikers most coaches prefer tall players, on other positions it doesn't matter much

China's football reform program is going almost exactly according to the plan.

The problem is that the generation benefiting from it is still in school.

This video got almost everything it said about China very wrong.

Its like listening to people a decade ago talk about how China cant lead ing Tech because their culture snd government hinders innovation... only to watch China got toe to toe with the USA in tech innovation today.

The people in the video didnt take an honest look at China's reforms.

You can pour in millions and practice every day and not get good footballers.

You need people who play for fun extensively when they are young, mostly unsupervised where they can develop their skills.

Unlike American sports, too much coaching can make a player worse.

Strikers are expected mostly to be big and strong.....mostly

This year was the worst World Cup in my 28 years of living. 2010 South Africa and 2014 Brazil, THE BEST!. You should check videos on that

Russ was like a dog out of a cage 🔥

5:38 most likely too small for his position at the time. And then he grew later. He’s 5’10 now

I dont know who told you that height doesn't matter, maybe Messi gave the wrong impression. Height strength and power will always give you an advantage and most strikers, defenders and goalkeepers are over 6ft. Its just that even for short player as long as you are technically skilled enough you can still have a role on the pitch.

Scotland is a mystery football is by far the most popular sport  and then the only other explanation is the population size but similar sized countries like croatia do better and often  where football competes with other sports like denmark with handball

Do you know india has top under fourteen best football team

Bro india is bad at football i do accept it but still we shockingly have Sunil Chhetri the goat of football..unreal irony! . Although china is better than us at football. Also I'm so shocked that how Sunil Chhetri could became what he is now with being Indian. That talent is literally European goat level one. Having athlete and sportsperson like Sunil Chhetri from India kinda country is still not acceptable and mystery
