I love Anatoly, there was one video where this big body  builder guy was shocked Anatoly could deadlift 400 lbs, proving big body builders do not lift all that heavy. Anatoly can do much more. I laughed at that one, I am 60 years old and I can do 405 lbs blind folded. my best lift is 475 lbs. And I only started weight lifting 7 years ago.  Here is my 475 lb lift. https://youtube.com/shorts/4j7b1fvaoEg?si=fOpnxgxZnsgNL_3y  BTW Shawn, you are a blessed man, Mel is such a beautiful woman inside and out!   Shawn and Mel, easy does not work!  Lifting heavy weights will extend your life, now no one just starts our that way, I started at 175 deadlift now look where I am at. You don't stop lifting when you get older, You get older by stopping lifting! Shawn can deadlift 400 plus lbs eventually. And Mel I have a female friend who only started lifting at 65 years old she is 73 and deadlifts 320 lbs. I got to go see at the Arnold Sports Festival a few years ago, she wins medals and money. And she uses the same dietitians at the Strongmen, like Hafthor Bjornessen, the strongest man in the world.  She was just a retired psychiatrist.

I've been watching him for awhile, he's pound for pound the strongest power lifter.  He's for real.

watching overblown egos get crushed is so satisfying LOL

Anatoly is an elite power lifter

He's also a weight lifting champion. He just kills these guys ego's. You notice the respect they give him once he' proven himself

my favorite ones are when he deadlifts those 400 lb bars one handed. The look on the body builders faces is priceless.

Anatoly is that dude. He's a beast.

Never judge a book by its cover! 😊

I learned long ago that big muscles do not always correlate with strong muscles.  Worked as weight room attendant in college, work study.  Had a chance to study some and get in a great work out.  Used to lift with a guy who reminds me of Anatoly.  Had long, thin muscles, could never be a "body builder", but...

That dude was STRONG.  I'm a big dude and he kept up with me all the way, sometimes exceeded me even.  Funny, he would have gladly sacrificed some pure power for the ability to build bigger muscles, and after some mild ego dinking I'd have gladly traded in some of my muscle building capacity for some of his strength, LOL.

Respect!

He's a world class power lifter.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do more of this guys videos

Not just lifting the bar but also holding it while talking and with no belt. 😆

Yeah. Don't cheat. Train right. Eat right. Sleep right. Life is beautiful.

Breaking egos and teaching the difference between muscle size and functional strength. Great video.

The mopster😂😂

This dude is a real life Captain America.

Anatoly is an absolute legend.  His workouts on a frame is also incredible

Real power, no balloons.

Anatoly is Crazy strong
