American requiem is a funeral song for the burial of old American ideas that keep up divided and discriminated against I think

I never get tired of seeing people's reactions.

“BODYGUARD” is very Fleetwood Mac inspired.

This album sits in its own category. You listen to one song and you want to hear the run of the whole album. And once you're done, you can't find another album to listen to on par! I said what I said!

One of the best of the year man. Its hard to put it in my playlist because if I hear 1 song then I just wanna hear the whole thing

Requiem = (especially in the Roman Catholic Church) is a Mass for the repose of the souls of the dead, or a musical composition setting parts of a requiem Mass, or of a similar character, or an act or token of remembrance. The song American Requiem is her putting up a mirror to America, for us to remember our history, good bad, and the ugly and to come to terms with it and acknowledge transgressions, as well as calling out the racist tropes and hate she received at the CMAs in 2016.

Nephew not liking Ya Ya is a crime against humanity!!!! But I loved the reaction to this masterpiece of an album and yes that Act lll rock album will be INSANE

My theory for the smoke hour kntry radio interludes is when daddy lessons came out, wasn’t being played on country stations. She probably anticipated that her album wont either. She added those interludes to have it sound like her own radio station.

I love when you compare "Daughter" to a Tarantino movie

Really great album! Its in my top 10 of the year so far. I would be surprised if it didn’t win big at the Grammys. For me its the 2nd best country album of the year right behind the Zach Bryan. But its apples and oranges. ZB is stripped back production with raw emotion and phenomenal writing, whereas this is over the top production, crazy sequencing and with more exciting tracks, and then the interludes that makes you feel like you’re in a movie lol

You can tell Handsome in the CC shirt has been consuming CC ! Hitting all the hits ! 🤣💖

Cowboy Cater was supposed to come out before Renaissance but Beyoncé thought we should have some fun due to COVID, that’s why RllVERDANCE sounds like it should be on Renaissance because it’s the ending of Cowboy Cater to introduce us to renaissance. So it’s Cowboy Cater, Renaissance, “Third Album”.

Brown Skin Girl (“Lion King: The Gift” album….Blue Ivy, at 9, second-youngest to win a Grammy.

I love how one of you has the knowledge so you can inform the other. It makes the experience fuller and more enjoyable for both parties, imo

When you say some songs are long and I look at the time stamp and it’s the length of a normal song. More recently artist have been making shorter songs because us as humans attention spanned has shortened drastically. But with shorten the song it takes away from the creative output. She wants us to listen and slow us down. We move to fast and don’t appreciate or fully take things in because of it. Loved yaw reactions so good.

This whole album was a EXPERIENCE. Glad to go through it with you guyssss!❤🐎🌵🏜️🇱🇷

Ameriican Requiem is my favorite from this album. I simply loved how she addressed all the pure racism and hate she received when she ventured into country music. She still gets big time hate from all the whyte ppl but now she knows how to deal with it. Love that song!!
