Far Cry: New Dawn felt more like a "would it be funny if we did this" type game, it's just there cause they thought it would be cool to have a follow up to one of FC5's endings.

NGL, I got New Dawn because I saw that Padre Jerome could finally be a gun for hire. But I really like the game with the super bloom post apocalypse, brutal takedowns and once you upgrade the weapons to be balanced, you get back to use any loadout you want (still is grindy as hell).

I really enjoyed the expedition missions especially Alcatraz in this game hands down best part of the game

New Dawn felt like it got the setting and the chaos right, while 5 got the story and characters right.

Mickey and Lou are poor antagonists compared to the other games but they feel right in a world that has lost a lot of its complexities and nuances. They represent self-serving attitudes against the spirit of unity and community.

Personally, FC5 would have felt better by having Sheriff Whitehorse as the protagonist: the local head of law enforcement who allowed the cult to become too powerful through prolonged caution, who finally is forced to take a stand and see what his inaction has caused only to have it all be too late. New Dawn would have been better to me if it had Carmina as the protagonist: a desperate girl who brings help to her attacked home, sees it be crushed and is then encouraged to be the one to brings the change; she is the daughter of a couple from the old world who can bridge the Gap with New Eden's Gate and, by being optimistic and dedicated to her family and friends, can be worthy of Joseph's gift.

legit my favorite farcry game, replayed it 7 times so far. I personally love the RPG system and style, and i love exploring the world on foot or in cars, i rarely use the air drop. Its way different from the farcry genre, but i personally love it for that. The story was meh, but i absolutely LOVE the enemies, the highwaymen are probably my favourite faction in the series, their style is unmatched, makes me wish to side with them actually.

FarCry New Dawn has got to be personally one of my most unique experiences in gaming.
I've never played another game so simultaneously complete garbage yet so fun and memorable

Funny how the "worst rated" Far Cry game made the most fun to me lol. I really liked upgrading the base and exploring the world with my friend.

Loving this algorithm pull, been on a far cry bender for a few days and just ran through 5 with a friend for his first time

You see your character everytime you take over an outpost. Plus you can see your character in settings.

Fortunately for me, I got my copy from the library

New Dawn is a game I'm not itching to replay, but when I do I enjoy it. I also find myself avoiding the story and just exploring the open world.

Love the videos I hope you keep going!

How you didn’t know where to go & couldn’t stealth lmao 🤣 that’s a YOU problem

You could find at least one other of these monsters along the river, so yes. At least one if them did turn. At least it was already dead.

It's kinda like borderlands 3. Gameplay, graphics and world: pretty good. Story, sibling villains: shit

If I would have Far Cry New Dawn but know how much I would like it, I would pay $45 for it. 👍👍 Love this game. The atmosphere and how fun it is. Don't care too much about Nicky & Lou but the highwaymen are fun to fight. And the double jump is so fun and practical.

I love this game. I think it has the best endgame. I finished the story years ago. But still play it a lot. The infinite weapon and perk upgrades give you something to do. The airdrops, prisoner rescue and supply ambush events are plentiful. Every few minutes you encounter some action. I agree that the twins were cringe.

this is only a very faint nitpick but the line "Yes far cry has different universes now" cause it always have had multiple universes, how else would you explain far cry instincts and far cry instincts: evolution. Great video though.

I really liked the super bloom environment of this game but I really wish the highwaymen weren't so colorful. It would have been a nice contrast to the beauty of post nuclear hope county if they were like gritty and dressed in weathered and dirty clothing

You can kill the twins in less than 1 minute even on hard difficulty. Use tier 4 sniper rifle and machine gun with armor piercing ammo and tier 4 shotgun, headshot MIckey with the sniper rifle few times then shoot Lou with the shotgun and when you empty the mag finish her off with the machinge gun.
