I'd love to have Tre go on drumeo. He's got a finesse in that pop punk scene that's just unrivaled

Beating that kit like it owes him money … amazing

Frank Zummo learned Electric Callboy's set in five hours before their concert at the Good Things festival in Australia in 2024. He stepped in for their drummer at the last minute when Sum 41 dropped out of the lineup, and he needed to quickly learn Electric Callboy's entire set.

Sum 41 Drummer plays Jesus of Suburbia 41 times in a row… Now THAT would be amazing

I literally felt exhausted watching that drumming master class

Whilst Frank was on tour in the UK he made time to run a drum lesson for my local drum school in Kent and did a video for the students wishing us luck for our annual concert 💙

i saw green day on this last tour where they played dookie and american idiot in full (plus more from other albums), the fact tre cool has the endurance to get through all that, especially when this song is a part of it, is incredible

And later that year, this beast of a drummer learned the entire Electric Callboy set in 5 hours. Sir, I salute you and give you my best curtsy. 🤘🤘

Wait, he’s playing the Sum 41 kit, so this basically prepped him to be able to learn Electric Callboy’s setlist in a matter of hours without a kit and then perform it live as a headline set. I don’t care what anyone says, how he pulled that off is still one of the most impressive things I’ve ever heard.

"It's a great fucking song." You're goddamn right it is, Frank. Well done man 👏

14:44 This is why it’s my favorite Green Day song. It’s like prog punk.

My arms get tired mid way of screwing in a light bulb, I cant imagine the arm strength drummers have ... absolutely amazing

16:18 Did you just confirmed Tré Cool on drumeo?

@joeplaysdrums89 8 months ago (edited)

Frank killed that! It may be that I've played this song a million times but I do feel that the way Tre made these drum parts flow into one another was very intuitive and somewhat easier to anticipate where the song was going next. It's one of the greatest punk rock songs of the past few decades.

Sum 41 drummer, playing Green Day with a Ramones t-shirt... this like heaven to me!

Can’t wait for Sum-41 to come back! Way too great a band to hang it up

I commented about a year ago that someone should cover Green Day. Obviously NOT an easy song but he made it look easy. Impressive. I would love to see Tre cover Sum 41!!
