Dating apps, especially Hinge, adding voice notes is genuinely the best and worst thing to happen to modern dating.I’m all for “showing personality,” but voice recordings do not belong on a dating app. Period.
If you’re on Hinge right now, you already know exactly what I mean: the awkward pauses, the forced jokes, the “I’m not on here much” energy… it’s cringe. Voice notes somehow make dating apps feel even more intense than they already are.
