The Gouldian Aviary

In today’s 29-minute deep dive, I’m sharing the "wherefore" behind my plans for the 2026 season. We’ve had a massive week on the channel (closing in on 400 subscribers!), and I wanted to pull back the curtain on exactly how I’m building my lines for the future.
What’s in this video:
The Big Reveal: I’m introducing the newest member of the aviary—a stunning Red Headed Yellow Back cock. I’ll explain why I chose this specific bird and how he fits into my breeding goals.
The 2026 Roadmap: A full breakdown of my Gouldian and Parrot Finch strategy. We talk genetics, selection, and the "long game" of bird keeping.
Bird Room Updates: From quarantine procedures with S76 to what’s happening in the nest boxes right now.
My goal is always to provide an honest and practical look at the hobby. Whether you are a seasoned breeder or just starting out, I hope my 2026 plan gives you some food for thought for your own aviary.
