Hi Andy. Great video. If you’ve taken in two armsful of sheet before the gybe, when do you let it out again - and how(!)? The flicked bit obviously takes itself out again, but what about the rest of it. Thanks!

My problem in gybing my Laser  is the mainsheet catching on the corner of the gunnel as the sail goes across.

Hi - relatively new laser sailor here :D   In this video it looks like you're sitting towards the back of the cockpit.  I'm generally trying gto sit as far forward as possible.  Am i confused by the camera angle or is this an explicit strong wind  downwind technique to position your weight further aft?

I'll definitely go and try some of these tips, those were some immaculate gybes! Also how do you tell if your boat's planing? I can tell when it's definitely on a full plane but what signs do you look for? I feel like I'm probably planing more often than I realise

Two questions. 1. If you can alter the daggerboard should you have it down for the gybe?   2. When sailing by the lee should you move to a broad reach before the gybe?
