That was a great group,of guys you had there Keith. Wish it could have gone a little longer. Best show in a long time

These guys were awesome, what a cool group of dudes... loved this show!!!

Really enjoyed this. It's though having so many people on a podcast and still having them all share an opinion and get to talk

Great Stuff with great quest, nice meeting you on Sunday Keith.

If you do a search online you will find that the so called "black bugs" found on Acropora are actually crustaceans (Alteuthellopsis corallina), not flat worms. The "red bugs" are also crustaceans (Tegastes acroporanus). The so called "Acro-eating flat worms" are Amakusaplana acroporae.

@dong. If you have a hanna PO4, you can use salifert test kit on a Hanna so you can test above 3ppm .

I hope Dong Zou is right, because I believe everything he says <3

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

."..on the top of a cloud... there is a reef tank..." I love it!!!!!!!

Removal of detritus should be one of the highest priorities keeping a marine tank. Not blowing off the rocks and leave the detritus in the system! Export detritus is to export the dirtiest part of the system! There is no way that any closed system would be able to process any of that and in the long run problems will arise. RTN/STN are mainly caused by the accumulation of organic compounds in the system and detritus are also part of that! The test kits' results of phosphates and nitrates have nothing to do with the accumulation or organics in the system! There is no cnidarian or fish, for a direct example, that would appreciate the presence of detritus and organic compounds! Export! Clean! Do water changes to maintain the system clean and free of diseases! Skimmer is great, but not enough! Activated carbon can be used, but partial water changes will do a way better job!!! Water changes are not mainly to manage/replace trace/minor elements! The biggest mistake of all the fashions, besides the LED scam, is to avoid water changes with the excuse of ICP/trace additions!! So... the best solution? Syphon detritus regularly, perform water changes in the regular basis and use shark bags to be cleaned at least once or twice a week. Clean the bag with a hose and place in a 3 gallon bucket with a cap of Clorox. Wait couple hours and rinse well to let it dry, ready to be used again. Easy maintenance that will save you big headaches!

Rey is the man for your Acros, buy from him all the time.

Checking out some of their sites, in what world does someone buy a 1 inch frag for $800. Hobby was so much better 25 years ago when you actually could buy corals, not broken corals or better called, “frag-ments”

How many gallons is that tank again? 186 gallons

Can you try to assemble a panel to speak on pico and nano tanks and the intricacies, misconceptions, stocking , equipment , etc lol . I’m always looking for nano and pico content and there’s not enough of it out there two people I can recommend are Harley at pnw customs and March at fragbox tv . They seem to be the front runners rn of the pico / nano aquariums

I do it like this: use your fave salt for wc until u think its not doing anything.then switch to IPC and dose everything until u think its not doing anymore. Then switch back to wc with your fave salt. And so on. Does it for me since 28 years. Tropic Marin Pro Reef guy here, from Germany. Whenever my tanks crashed, i was the problem, not the salt. Btw: my tank is 500+ gal. packed to the top with corals. Its easier than freshwater....
