this came across my recommended feed probably because I watched the original episode. I know Billy (William) personally and want to add some additional context. He and Julie had been friends for several years since before he moved here to Texas for school. His mother walked out when he was 16, and he chose to completely stop talking to his father during his first semester of college after the dad got into some trouble with police, so no parents. Losing his dad changed him, and you could see his hope vanish. He did end up finding some people who kind of informally adopted him. Right after this happened to him, Julie started flirting with him, and soon enough the whole family acted like they adored him, so much so that they hosted him in the Philippines about 6 months later. Right after he returned to the states, Julie told him (a lie ) about how her mom was kicking her out, and that kind of reminded him of the pain of losing his own parents and he felt pity. Another 6 months later he moved to the Philippines to be with Julie, and upon landing he discovered that she had been using his money to get an apartment to host her affair partners etc. She then gave him a sob story about how she'd be living on the streets if he broke up with her and you can imagine the rest of the manipulation. It didn't help that her family had all joined in and told him that her wellbeing was completely his responsibility.
Trying to get ahold of him during this time was like night and day. He went from reaching out to me several times a week to me having to convince him to sneak outside just to call and tell me what was really going on. According to him, she would routinely go through his phone to see if he had been contacting anyone without her permission. He sent me an audio recording one time where Julie's saying that she will end her life the moment he walks out, and it's really disheartening and, frankly, creepy if I'm being honest.
Before the Tulfo segment, Julie had actually provided a written promise stating that she would pay back all of the funds in order to fund therapy to help with the trauma she caused. William had told her that he would even be okay with her making payments directly to a therapist to prove that the funds are being put to the intended use, and she agreed. After some time, William started asking why Julie kept stalling; he wanted to get the therapy she promised to provide. She replied back while she was drunk, saying she changed her mind, and then she said "go cry to your parents about it... oh wait, I forgot." That hit him harder than anything had before, and after she refused to take that statement back, he went on Tulfo to talk about the general situation.
It's an ongoing thing with the barangay. Julie broke down in tears begging for forgiveness at their barangay hearing and then she didn't show up to the next 2 hearings. Some other things have come to light since this segment aired that are causing him to focus more on criminal liability, as other victims have privately messaged him.
So, that's my context to all of this. I think being mocked to that degree would piss anybody off, and it looks like she F'd around and found out a bit.
Edit: Removed part of my paragraph because I don't know if I'm at liberty to share that detail.
God the number of guys supporting these girls from around the world and still somehow surprised by their degenerate behavior is baffling. You are enabling her. She was evicted by her mother for a reason. Fellas, we have to learn to let go. There has to be an intervention plan for these dudes. Repeat after me, 'supporting a hoe financially doesn't make you a pimp, it makes you a trick'.
Dating 7yrs only for her to ask you to pay for sex is some demon level shit 😂😂 She had zero respect for the dude not sure how they lived together all those months
Man, they set him up at 16 years old and then did a long con for years! If you're gullible and white, you will get ripped to pieces in the Philippines.
This Filipina thinks her boyfriend is AFAM and the guy is rich …leave that woman, you need a woman who is responsible and independent not the one who is depending on you.
The older Whyte men set the stage for everyone from world war ll until now, soldiers started giving money and they are spoiled now so it's never going to stop.
You spent the money, and it was a relationship...so suck it up and move on. You gave the money originally not expecting it back, now things changed you think it money owed to you? Naaaah. That is money spent like rent. He needs to move on. I feel the same, these guys think they are gonna get the money back? They have not been in the philippines long enough to know. Money spent is money gone. How ever you spend it. At the 711 or supporting a girl... it is Gone.
