If you ask my mom, the biggest crime was making Montenegro a non-qualifier.

I should know: she watched this year's Eurovision with me from the start of semi-final 1 to the end of the grand final. It was both our first ever Eurovision.

I was genuinely baffled by Serbia only placing 17th. It was one of my favourite songs of the contest and I thought Lavina knocked it out of the park performance-wise.

9:06 Aidan literally flew to the other side of the world for 2 days (Australia) to come to pre parties and promote his song, only to get 8 Televote points??? I know people found the ads annoying, but I don’t blame the delegation for trying every year because they have no neighbours and hardly any diaspora. Especially after coming dead last in their semis a couple of times with the Televote-only system, both of which were so undeserved.

I know Aussie eurofans really appreciated Aidan coming here and I’m so glad we gave him some points ❤

Thank you for talking about the malta advertisement problem! Im shocked that i saw NO ONE talking about the amount of promotion they did for the song after everyone kept saying that israel promotes their songs too much. With how much that i love bella (like that song was in my top ten), i feel like it was too much promotion lol

Still feels weird that Eurovision pushed so hard for spreading televotes to multiple countries yet did not implement any guardrails when updating the voting system, since you could still dump all votes onto a single country if you wished. Now I have always wanted the televotes to be on a ranking system much like the juries so that each televoter has to select five countries for the semis (using a 6 point system) and ten for the finals (using the 12 point system) preventing vote dumping. Would this actually fix the problem, I don't know, but it would at least it would alleviate some of my concerns, especially since Canada is seemingly getting closer to joining the contest and would have its own voice when voting and not part of the aggregated "rest of the world".

ARRI (the company behind the camera tech used for the first time this ESC) even commented on the Czechia glitch, but only to minimize it, by saying "yeah it was unfortunate that it happened to the worst performance it could possibly happen (because of the kind of staging they were using), but oh well. It was a success overall".
As if that wasn't another gut punch on top of the biggest robbery of this year's ESC...

I Understand You Did Not Have a separated section for Croatia(no bs cause i am Croatian) but This Year in my opinion we we re robbed and do think that Croatia Deserved Better.
