Shadowhawk tuah

You should keep reading until the big reveal of his identity.
Then his whole back story.

I remember reading this back in high school. Very underrated series, especially for early image. I don’t really see it get talked about a lot even among hard core 90s superhero comics fans which is sad because it’s honestly one of the best examples.

I loved Shadowhawk. It was gritty and had a mystery of Shadiwhawks identity. Good stuff.

The Others is another Image title by Valentino that came out three freaking years after Shadowhawk.

He also did A Touch of Silver which is freaking miserable.

The prelude story you talk about in 3:50 is drawn by Valentino and not Liefeld.

que gran video, no encontraba ninguno hablando sobre Shadowhawk, donde lo puedo encontrar para leerlo en ingles o español

If you want to continue this 90s retrospective I would recommend the 1996 Teen Titans comic series. It's quite divorced from every other Titans iteration, but it's honestly one of the most focused and readable 90s comics when it comes to the characters and storylines it introduces. It's probably the closest DC has ever got to the X-Men/New Mutants.

This was one of my favorite titles when it released. I remember being one of the only kids I knew who liked it though .

I remember liking shadow hawk and then finding that rob liefeld drawn one and thinking he was taking over lol

I love me obscure/forgotten comic analysis. Keep it up bro👍🏽

Shadow hawk was one of my favorites. I got the first issue signed at SDCC.

As someone who grew a spawn fan purely off of the movie and images of him at comic stores, I as an adult see image comic like it’s the cool edgy Cousin that we had growing up, but that overtime we realized, “Boy, I’m glad I didn’t turn out like that, but I’m really glad I know them”. If that makes any sense. lol

Savage dragon is  the best image book.  Its the only one still consistently  worked on by the guy who started it.

If you haven't, check out the 1990s Guardians of the Galaxy, also done by Valentino. He was going to rename a Guardian character as Shadowhawk but someone convinced him to shave Shadowhawk for its own character. It's also a fun read.

YES READ SAVAGE DRAGON AND MAKE A VIDEO.

Interesting algorithm pull. I barely started my comic book journey

Excellent video!

Hey great video. I haven't read any Shadowhawk myself but this video definitely made him sound way more interesting than I thought he'd be.

Also on Savage Dragon, I hope you do check it out. I think it's the best written and most fun of the initial Image characters. Can weird but I feel that's the charm of it.
