the five stages of forexposure
1) butter up the artist
2)snap at them
3)insult them
4)lie about yorself
5)take nothing away from a valueable point

"If you're in discomfort don't draw"
-Said to artist presently refusing to draw

I don’t know why they’d brag about how much money they have, and then refuse to pay???

I love how genuinely angry he got at the guy harassing that poor girl about her chronic pain. He was so quick to defend her and roast the shit out of that guy. Sorrow is the ally we all need

DID I OR DID I NOT SAY NO OFFENCE?!

"Free comissions"

Bruh

People: Artists are wasting their time and should get a real job
Also people: whY wOn't YoU wOrK foR fReE?

"My dad knows the leader of the yakuza" Which-
Which one?
Which one, buddy?
That's like saying "I know the leader of the mafia".
There are multiple yakuza gangs.

"i complimented your art so therefore you owe me hours of your time and i don't wanna pay for it."

facepalm

"I can draw your art myself."

THEN WHY DON'T YOU!?

As a graphic artist, all too real. A coworker approached me and asked for a t-shirt design. When all I asked for payment was a t-shirt, he demanded to know why. Worst part, I knew he was getting the shirts for FREE because his friend owned the print shop, so there was literally no skin off his nose to give me a damn shirt I designed.

"HAHA, I HAVE SUMMONED THEE, PHOTOGRAPHER, YOU ARE NOW BOUND TO MY WILL!"

photographer gets back in car

"I...wait! These guys are all Marines! "

lol

"Could I have a free drawing?"
"No"
"Could I have a free drawing?"
"No"
"Could I have a free drawing?"
"No"
"Can't you say anything but 'No'?"
"Try asking again"
"Can I have a free drawing?"
"Nooo"

is there any voice you can't do

The only arguments I see and why they suck
1) "I'm a huge fan!"
- It's nice that you like a person's work but that doesn't change anything. Time = money and they can't just give out hours of free work because you like their work.
2) "Your prices are too expensive!"
-People often forget that art takes (usually) a good chunk of time/supplies. If it's too expensive don't buy it.
3) "I don't have any money/*insert bad thing has happened to me*"
-Man that sucks but it has no correlation at all. I'm very sure your dead dog isn't controlling you through the grave saying the only way to be happy is to have someone draw you/your oc. Do you go into McDonald's saying "Yo my mom is dead, so can I get a Big Mac for free?"

the post with the 14 year old with chronic pain really made me upset like how can anyone be so ignorant and full of themselves?? that fox dude was such a hypocrite and a disrespectful being

As a person with a painful chronic illness which has slowed me achieving my dream............I get angry when I see people demanding things of people who have similar conditions that I do. That's LUDICROUS. People who do not have it have NO IDEA. No idea. Let the 14 year old have her dream and stop making it hard on her. Geeze.

Props to that 14 yo girl. It was like the ages had switched.

- My DAd Is THe LEadeR Of tHe YaKuZA ffs.....

- That 14 year old girl was so considerate about other people

"I'm a businesses owner too", "My dad owns a company"... Anyone else really dislike brat's who equate their own success to their parents? Your DAD owns a company, he put in the work, the time, and the dedication. You've done nothing except been born. Your fathers success through hard work is not reflected in you simply because he's your parent.
(P.S I know that based on the other claims he made, he was probably lying about the business thing too, but he's still equating his fathers hypothetical success to his own, and there are people who do that for reals as well...)
