90 day reporting is still a pain, why don’t they just go to 1 year

Bought into Elite 5 years ago for 600k. Currently extending for a further 15 years for 400k.  Always stay no more than 179 days for tax purposes.  Sorted.

Thank you for creating one of the clearest and most balanced explanations of Thailand’s visa system I’ve seen. No unnecessary drama, no sales pressure….just well-structured, honest information that helps people make informed decisions. In a world full of noise, this kind of clarity has real value. I truly appreciate the time and effort you invested in making such a detailed guide. Wishing you continued success and many more people who benefit from your work. 🙏🇹🇭🌿

I have it. Got it before the price increase. I’m very happy and I’ve never had any issues.

I qualified and have an LTR visa and love it. And I don’t have to see you guys at immigration every year 😂

However you do not have to report every 90 days you just submit your passport to your agent. Also your banking drivers licence and any other logistics are handled by the assigned government agent. Fast pass at the airport, no health insurance required and no obligation to park your money in Thailand. Its a pay to play visa and works well for what it is.

The only people "hating" on The Privilege Card are those who can't afford it.

Being in Thailand with the Privilege card, I did not regret getting it for 1 second. The last time I did my 90-days reporting in Bangkok I was in and out of the door in litteraly 5 minutes because as a privilege card owner you get a special VIP counter. When I had to get a special paper from the immigration dept. the EPL in Wattana very kindly helped me (for free!) to fill out the correct form. I don't use all the useless, overpriced lifestyle "perks" but I appreciate the fast lane at the airport. My only wish would be to have the same tax and work advantages like the LTR!

It's too much now for what is still a glorified tourist visa. No pathway to residency or citizenship, even after 20 years, still expected to report in frequently and indefinitely, and still gain no ownership rights around property, business, or even more obscure assets like planes. You're still an outsider, just with an expensive visa.

Wish there was a one and done long-term visa for older retired people.  i am 65.  We cause no problems and spend money.

Thanks for this, Jett.  I tried the marriage visa for a few years because it is cheaper.  However they take a month to process it and then they sent three large immigration police to interview our neighbors.  We were told they would do this forever because we didn't have children.  The retirement visa is much easier and they finish it the day I walk in.

$151,000 usd for 20 years is crazy.  I would pay $50,000 but 3x that is wild.

I used Jett's Service for my 20 year Elite visa in 2023. I didn't mind paying for the convenience such as airport fast track and being able to open a bank account.

Found only two privilege visa drawbacks: 1St: Airport lounge access for members don't include spouse or family, 2nd: You also have to deal with some new local banking regulations such as ridiculous low imits that are frequently adjusted dynamically.

Great video.👏

This guy knows what’s up

I looked at it, but most of the services are things I would never use. As you stated, many people are like me and just don’t see as reasonable value for the cost. Especially, the annoying 90 day reporting requirements, can’t work, etc.

Great summary! If I ever desire to visit there often, I'll give you a call.

Was going to get the bronze before the price increase but was still working then. I can still afford it but why give them 19k when i can just store 24k and get that back when i leave? I have been caught in the immigration line but i have also just sailed through, its not always that bad. If the card stopped the 90 day check ins, that might be enough for me but i don't see them adding features.
