What I love about this is that we know it's nothing like how they normally work, but the end result was exactly how you'd expect an EC version of Manic to sound. And that's a testament to the fact that they all really can play and Nico and Kevin really can sing, like you said. I could see this kind of thing going extremely wrong for a band that doesn't play as well and leans more heavily on production tricks.

Also, after that little bit at the beginning I need them, or at least Nico, to do some Whitney.

My favorite track is now on my playlist, too—and what can I say? When people hear it, they ask who it is because it sounds so good. It’s even being played at the gym now; this German band is amazing!

😂I was sitting here shaking because I was afraid of your judgement. - Kevin says he knows he did well when he can taste blood in his mouth during a concert. - These guys are really funny and nice in real life . They hired Tank the Tech as their roadmanager and he just got his German residency last week. Now he doesn't need to cross the Pond every time they go on tour. - Thank you Alex and Jeff ❣

Interesting listening to the collaboration on how they want to play the song. Awesome job!!!!

Love these guys! Kevin's "Blegh" is awesome and I love his wild eyed look when he sings his harsh vocals. And he's got more vocal range than I thought. Nice seeing Pascal and Dan speaking up with their opinions too!

Great to see all the musical intelligence that goes into the idiocy of their videos 😂🤣

This must have been great fun for them! 😂 It reminds me of the Pianote series, where the artist has to create an arrangement of a famous song that they have never heard before. They are only fed the vocals and drum tracks and it’s also a sponsored series. There is a really funny episode with Jonah Nillson who hears Harry Styles for the first time, check it out, Jeff. As for this video, I’m sure this band was already familiar with Maniac. But I love how they morphed it into their own. 👏
