My life has been changed by this Navimow product. I was sick of having to deal with people mowing too high to come and collect $$ more frequently. Then with their mess for not even having the decency of properly blowing all the mess out of parts of the house where all the cut weed and grass is not supposed to be. This thing changed my life. Not having to be dealing with dishonest people is a blessing by itself.

I watched countless robotic lawn mower reviews and i think you're the first one to point out the same cutting height looks different between push mowers and robots. Using a push mower first to bring the grass down initially as mentioned in another comment doesn't help long term. It will look as described by you again in a couple of weeks. I even got a robot mower with a real blade and not the tiny razor blades (Ambrogio 4.0 Basic AWD) and got similar results. Robots lack the suction and lifting power of a good push mower,  so you have to go lower to get a satisfying result. Still not going back to mowing manual and getting eaten alive by mosquitoes doing so because i'm sweating, lol... great video! Greetings from Germany.

You're supposed to mow the grass first with a push mower. That's why your grass is laying down and smothering the other grass. That's not good.

Lawnmowers suck grass up through lifting. Which is why your long grass is laying down. A robotic mower doesn't have that ability unless you buy a Yarbo or Lymow.

Not confirmed yet,but I was told tonight the actual length of the cut setting is off by .50 inches. I haven't verified anything yet.

I just bought same mower & just set it up.

It literally has stickers and instructions on the box on how to lift that 64 lb monster. Lifting it from the back works I guess.

It won't run into things. Turn on cam to avoid things. I use 2.5 inch height.

Aren't you supposed to actually mow the grass the first time before setting this thing up, so it can maintain that height?

Did you program your strip of grass in the front? Any issues with it falling off?

Are you still happy with the Navimow? Did it get better with the "laying down the grass" after you mowed it a couple of times shorter? :)

Brother, you can’t expect that thing to mow that long grass.  Should’ve mowed before first mowing

Had it for 3 days.  One big issue is trying to manually drive the unit on a curvy landscape.  The controller is extremely sensitive.  The wheels just fly left and right so fast that you cannot drive the unit easily to follow curves.  Any suggestions?

Unit does way better than Lymow One Plus for RTK coverage, however it still does struggle under tree cover but way better than Lymow.  

Disappointed on the striping.  They toute a wide deck cut path, however it does an extremely poor job at striping.  If you want nice striping, this is not the unit for you.

Unit will not handle Hard Right Angle cuts.  It is so big and the blades are so far back.  Most larger units cannot mow in a tight right angle area.

If you're supposed to mow it first what's the point

I've had mine for about 4 days. you do need to mow it first as stated in the instructions and requires frequent mowing because of it's "razor blade" cutting setup. on my .25 acres, gemini calculated that it's less than $0.50 / mow and that includes electricity plus the cost of regular blade replacement.

I just ordered the navimow x430 and waiting for the delivery. Do you still like it from 4 months ago when you made this video?

How was the set up? Easy? Did you have to keep tweaking it? As you mentioned in the video the grass folds over when it's long. If I cut the grass low right before sending out my navimow will it keep grass low and not fold over like that?

Their is a few things I am concerned about when I get this mower. I have a sidewalk out front of my house with a small strip of grass and hoping it will mow it without going over the curb and into the street to get ran over.

We love our Navimow. You should have mowed the grass before setting it up as per the instructions.

Not confirmed... but the likely reason for moving the mower charge station location recommended is due to the unlikely event of a charge station fire. Navimow doesn't want to be responsible for burning your house down. We've all heard of unrelated fires with other battery powered equipment or vehicles.
