On the night of 16 November 2017, George Young, 43, came home from a security shift to his house on Montauk Hill Drive in Buford, Georgia. He was on the phone with a co-worker until he said he had arrived. He put his key in the front door and was shot twice. The 911 call from inside the house came eight minutes later.

The next day his wife, Tia Young, was on 11Alive: "He was a really good guy. Everybody loved George." A month later, when the reward reached $5,000, she asked the killer to come forward. Inside the house that night were her mother, her three sons, and a family friend, Harvey "Tim" Lee, who had been living there for almost two years. On the 911 call she called him her brother.

This is her fourth interview with Gwinnett County Police, in April 2018, in order: the tracker under George's car, the $1 million policy she found the next morning, the e-mails, the sleeping pill, the sirens she asked them not to use. Then the two older sons, interviewed two days after the shooting. Then the booking.

Tia Young and Harvey Lee were tried together in March–April 2019. He was convicted of malice murder and sentenced to life without parole. She was found not guilty of malice murder and guilty of felony murder, aggravated assault and two counts of attempting to tamper with evidence; life with the possibility of parole after thirty years, plus three years. The Georgia Supreme Court affirmed both convictions in 2022.

Every recording in this film is from the public release. The two sons were minors; their faces are obscured and their names are not used. Narration facts are drawn from the Georgia Supreme Court opinions (Young v. State, 315 Ga. 208; Lee v. State, 314 Ga. 724), 11Alive, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, WSB-TV and Crime Watch Daily. Two document boards (the tracker summary, the indictment counts) are re-set from the court record and what is said on the tape and are labelled as reconstructions.
