I gotta go with my boy the Reanimator here. And i m still hoping he´s gonna get that 6 inch aura one day.

Tomb blades

Gonna say Reanimator next

With the Warden, you're not fussed about being in melee, so you can charge them into something like a vehicle to make its shooting harder or another non-melee unit and then fall back, shoot, and charge for tons of essentially free movement.

We gotta see the tomb crawlers next. Ignores cover in 11th is really interesting now

What I've done pretty consistently is Stick a 20 man brick of warriors with Gauss Reapers with Orikan, a Royal Warden, and a pair of cryptothralls. Orikan gives everyone a 4 up invulnerable save, the cryptothralls keep him from being precisioned out. Royal warden is the weak link but he still gets the invuln save, so it's possible he might survive, since most precision is likely going to come from epic challenge, meaning a single character is swinging on him rather than a whole unit. Speaking of, a great strat is that when you get charged, epic challenge the unit leader, have Orikan go super sayan and kill the leader, then when your turn rolles around, take 2 steps back and shoot the rest with impunity. Having a Catacomb Command barge + Reanimator helps with staying power, since you can have barge use a res orb on them. and being able to reroll 2 D3's is a different ball game than rerolling 1.

I really want to see Reanimator! I've got one but never know what units they work well with, and can never seem to make them worth it in my lists.

Tomb blades! I'm really curious about running Recon with Cursed Legion and Skyshroud

I feel like you didn't mention nice synergy of Warriors standing near Illuminor Szeras, because of his battleline buff. Generating additional AP and cutting enemy AP agains for example a blob - works pretty well!
Also, once an unit without any character, just stood whole game on objective scroring for me, because enemy didn't have anyone to fight against so insignificant 10 warriors :P

Also, I fully intend to run a Conclave/Hand combo with Priority Assets. Take a 20 Warrior Block with a Chronomancer, Royal Warden, Tomb Crawlers with the Enlivened Sentinels upgrade, rush them onto the centre objective backed by a Reanimator (advance and actions with Hand of the Dynasty) and just sit there, reanimating in my opponent’s command phase using that Cryptek Conclave Strat. It’s a fair amount of points, sure, but your opponent NEEDS to deal with that and it’ll take a fair amount of resources to do that.

I feel like the Reanimator would be a great follow on from Warriors 👀

I would like to see Tomb Blades, I've been building a Hypercrypt/Skyshroud Recon list focused on Deathmarks and Tomb Blades but I have no idea how well it would work since I'm new to the hobby.

When you talk about Tomb Blades, definitely bring up Particle Casters along with Anti Infantry 3+ and Anti Mounted 4+ from Cryptek Conclave and Skyshroud Spearhead. It is straight up a cheat code against a ton of midboard pieces

This new rating format is much much better, thanks a lot 😊

As the newest kid on the block, I’m voting Tomb Crawlers because we’ve had less time to get used to them.

I just did a recon list with hypercrypt. Having 20 OC I can pop down for 80 points is really great. And now that they can reanimate off a surviving character, putting an overlord in there guarantees they’re going to pop back up for another 1-2 turns in an exposed back line

I run 90 warriors, with overlords and command barges, stacking Rez Orbs

I like to take my warriors with anoverlord with the translocation shroud. It helps the issue with mobility a lot! I can auto advance for 11 and go trough ANYTHING as long as i can properly plce teh models and not withing engagement range of enemies. Cherry on the top is that the overlord also carries a resurrection orb which heals for D6 which can also be rerolled by the warriors ability. There was a time when i rerelled a 1 to a 6! i was so happy bringing back 6 dudes instead of one. I also love to add a chronomancer to them for the minus one to hit, and since i have a cryptek, i can add trwo toomb crawlers as well for extra wounds, which models might be beasts and not infanty, but with teh translocation shroud, it is not an issue at all :D !

(All this to still be wiped by one swing from a unit os genestealers or orc boys on ocasions xD )

I really miss elite necron warriors like 3rd had. 20pts for model felt right. And they had surprising melee ability into vehicles because of disruption fields, which I think they should bring back for both immortals and warriors.

would love to see tomb blades in spirit of the new detachment!!
