Find out which Necron units got better in 11th Edition.

In this video, I look at 7 Necron units that have changed my mind since the move to 11th Edition, and why they now offer more value on the tabletop.

Whether it’s changes to how the game plays, new detachments or how these units now fit into a Necron army, these are the units I rate more highly in 11th Edition.

The non ai thumb nails are looking great

Annihilation Barge in Obeisance Phalanx is great too, the crits on 5+ strat for shooting, plus a defensive vehicle start of -1 damage characteristic, make it a pretty tough unit for the back line

Totally agree on Illuminor Szeras. He’s been doing work for me this edition. I’ve been running him in Cryptek Conclave/ Hand of the Dynasty for my Silver Tide list. Not the best list but some good fun

The barge is soooo good I even run it in 10 on how cheap they are

Triarch Stalker cover stripping seems also to be more helpful this edition.

Doom scythe ability is also applied for your other units for the rest of the phase, or the turn too, not just for the scythe's shooting phase.

Agree on all of them. I think the stormlord will change in this edition

Triarch praetorians and tomb blades are excellent in Cryptek conclave. With synergistic empowerment they gain access to anti-infantry. Combined with devastating wounds, they can easily wipe out elite infantry units.

6:00 furthermore, because you don't have the limit of two secondaries, people burn them less frequently so there's less CP coming from there, so to am extent we gain less CP across an average game

I've never even heard of dispositions.

Hand of Dynasty if I remember correctly gives [ASSAULT] for Immortals and Warriors, not [RAPID FIRE] yet still, those crawlers are interesting.
Still big love for Szeras :D
