Surprised the Defender Light Corvette didn't make it on the list - one of the ships designed specifically for Jedi use.

Gx1 SHORT HAULER!

The GX1 Short Hauler is a good ship for just about anything you might need, especially if you've got the diplomatic version.

It has two cabins; one for the captain, one for the diplomat, each with its own refresher.
Opposite those cabins is a single cabin with 8 bunks built into the bulkhead for the diplomat's entourage, with a refresher.
It also has a small Med Bay, a real Galley (with an autochef), and a Cargo Bay just forward of the Engine Room. You also don't have to be stuck using the airlock just aft of the Flight Deck for entry and exit because it has a loading ramp in that Cargo Bay.

I'm using a modufied GX1 as my ship in the Star Wars novel I'm writing.
The MC is a retired Imperial captain (as suggested as a PC in the Star Wars tabletop RPG), and the ship he commanded was part of his retirement package.

I (my MC) made some modifications to the basic GX1 Diplomatic model over the years...
...Military-grade armor, shields, weapons, and sensor suite for missions before he retired.
...The hyperdrive was upgraded to a Class 1. The sublight engines were also boosted so that the ship could make 900 kph.
...I had to make some alterations to the power plant and engines to make all this possible.
...I converted the "entourage" cabin into 4 small cabins, with 2 bunks each. It still has a shared refresher.
...The consumables capacity was increased from 1 month to 2 months.
...Because of these changes, I lost some cargo capacity, dropping from 85 tons to 75 tons. I also did away with the holo-theater and the zero-G relaxation room.
...Furthermore, knowing that I was going to join the Rebellion upon my retirement, I put in some shielded compartments. Just in case I had to make some smuggling runs for the Rebels or hide something.
The ship came supplied with an RX pilot droid. I added some more droids: an R2 astromech, a battlefield medic, and a couple of utility droids (to handle the heavy lifting).

With all that worked out, I retired right after the destruction of Alderaan. In fact, that's where the novel starts.

HT-2200 WooHoo! Finally!

A CEC YT 600 series Light Freighter, the early model, retrofitted with the elevated cockpit, a pair of spruced-up BOAV X-9 ion engines, an overclocked Avatar series Hyperdrive, giving Class 0.8 in a pinch, a premium grade Nav Computer, and fire-linked dorsal and ventral dual laser cannon, the sensor suite off an old ARC 170, supplemented with a folding "Mouse Ear" dish, and fitted with a decent shield and several ray-shielded secret compartments.
On paper, it's still a rather wimpy freighter with a few upgrades (at least if you are careful with the paperwork), and it can be all legit and go on "trade missions" under the nose of the Empire. It's registered to a trade company on Malastare, where it's insanely difficult to determine ownership, and "you just go where the company tells you", if anyone asks.
However, in atmo or sublight, it handles like a Starfighter (it's faster than a Z 95 Headhunter), and can jump out of trouble in seconds.
Onboard it's roomy enough to have full amenities, including a medbay built into one of the crew quarters, a small hydroponics pod/meditation garden, housing Force-active plants along with leafy greens and Caff plants, a training mat and a remote for practise laid out in the Starboard cargo bay, parking for a Kenner CargoLord speeder bike, and still enough weight allowance for around 50 tons of not-too-bulky cargo.
A D6 or GNK power droid takes care of the power cells, a pair of Grade 4B bodyguard droids, possibly rebuilt BX Commando droids, in charge of security in port, and a protocol or secretary droid to do grunt research work.
With supplies enhanced to 3-4 months for a single biological, you could go pretty much wherever you want, be it deep in the Core Systems, or at the edge of the Forbidden regions in the Outer Rim.
-And a setup like this isn't going to require a bank heist to build, if you know tech to begin with!
Best cheap ship.
Best smuggler ship.
Add a brig and/or Carbonizer, perhaps a concealed, forward-facing Ion cannon, and Best bountyhunter ship.
Add probe droid dispenser and beef up sensors, and Best explorer ship.
Pretty much any solo career you want to pursue, short of bulk freight, this little gem can do. - Because it's cheap, ubiquitous, flies well, even stock, and there are factory- and third party upgrades for days! -Did I mention, it's cheap!?

Loved it!

The solar sail ship can accelerate to 1000Gs?  If the dampening / gravity control system fails, passengers become a streak on the floor....

Nice

👌

Top Pick: Charger c70 Retrofit - If automation and/or Jedi-issue droids can trim the organic crew down to me and a partner (and maybe a couple friends), then this would be a spacious, comfortable home to do research in without having too large a footprint. All the military hardware (even if pared down) also makes it pretty safe. Potential name: Tachyon Rider.

Runner Up: GX1 Short Hauler - I'd choose this one for pretty much the same reasons as the Charger c70, but this one doesn't require as much automation/droid infrastructure. It's a lot smaller but still plenty spacious for two. Plus, the auxiliary craft is useful for both its intended purpose and as extra space. Potential name: Wind Dancer.

Dark Horse Pick: Sheathipede - According to its stats, it can carry 2 months of consumables for up to 10 organics and have the space to host those 10 organics in relative comfort. 2 organics stretches both the consumables and the space. It would still require living somewhat spartan, but you could get creative with the deceptively spacious cabin. One of the larger official variants (or my head canon version that keeps the proportions of the original but scales it up to 31 meters) would be even easier to live in. Potential name: Scarab.

Wow throughout the video you have several clips from the game Star Wars Galaxies.
It’s my #1 game of all time.
R.I.P SWG 🪦

Well Jedi Master Tionne of the New Jedi Order used a Solar Sailor

i for one would pick number 5 the consuler class cruiser .
its no Andromeda which if that ship was in star war it would be more like the ship at number 2 here but number 5 can make the job easy and you may be able to make one of the rooms into a green house for food and other plants but if i where given the ship at number 2 i could grow medical plants to sell and food to strech out the need for food longer

What song plays in the background at 6:15

This entire ship list looks more like top 10 ships for force users from private to official level.

Wow. I was just looking to upgrade the ol' van. How many kilos can it hold?

While I prefer the GX-1 for almost everything, the HT-2200 would be pretty good. The pirate issue would really just be an inconvenience, after all you are still a crew of jedi.

HT-2200 in stock configuration is Pirate bate
Thing is the ship is a CEC product and thus built to be easily modded & upgraded.

Hell if you are flying a CEC Freighter in stock configuration you're either on the way to a garage to get it modded or you just plain goofed

I'm leavin this comment here now even though I only started ship number 2, the one that's a city that occasionally remembers it has a hyperdrive, while my sleep deprived brain's still thinkin bout it.
Wasn't there a droid from the Jedi Order who's been teachin younglings the history, importance, and how ta construct lightsabers durin their transition into the rank of Padawan, who sadly lost his ship durin The Clone Wars after thousands of years of loyal service? Shouldn't we try & help the guy find a new mobile base, either a ship that's as close ta his original as the modern SW galaxy can provide or even a full on upgrade in every aspect, or has droid racism actually became that engraved into modern society already?

Really wish chatgpt had more than one narrative voice.
