Despite all his rage he is still just a Wolf in the Cage.

That image of Jon in the thumbnail is actually what he looks like now due to the stress of Omikron. He has to use AI de-aging filters on stream to regain his youthful appearance.

He was only meant to dip a toe in the David Cage waters, instead he chartered a ship, sailed into its center, and dove head first into its maelstrom, but before he leaped, he told the crew to turn back and head to shore, for he would find his own way home

Good ghosts have tits, bad ghosts don’t. A 10/10 game

Omikron is the perfect embodiment of the David Cage experience: the longer it goes, the worse it gets, and the worse it gets, the more you feel your soul slipping away.

I will NEVER forget that music 0:30 It got stuck in my head from the best friends lets play and now its in my head again.

You just gotta eat the Koopy Sandwich, John

20:21 The face of a person thinking "Oh, of course, we take over the body of the nice helpful guy we just met, most likely condemning him to death. How could I not think of it?"

Being an awful jerk deprived of empathy is a central mechanic in this game. Amazing.

The lore to omikron is fairly simple. You see you're the Nomad Soul as prophecized by the Gulakk to save all of Vïrdstas from Asteroth the Vcjictiu of the Redgystarks buy first you need the Zuzzfid in the Swëzzůks Temple to Qqalukz Asteroth because it turns out he's the Gloòövs in the Ævuls. And the Żùuł have to gain the power of the Ssūxx.

David Cage should be mandated to 100% this game before he can be allowed to make another one.

Not that there could have been any ending worth this mess, but that was an impressively lame ending.

My first exposure to this game was a video essay calling it "the most underrated game of all time" years ago

Further proof that a persuasive video is not always a correct one

This game could serve as a good example of why we need rays of light and yellow paint/tape telling us where to go in a game cause good god nothing is clear at all in this

System shock 2, Silent Hill, Planescape: torment, age of empires II, FF8 and Soul Reaver came out same year.

-Mega honor for me to meet Nomad soul! To help Nomad Soul is be great honor! Here's a gift of a horse you can't ride!
(doesn't elaborate further to get on his horse to move a boulder, so you need to off yourself and posses his body)
That's easily would be in my top 5 most stupid dumb braindead puzzles I saw in videogames.

"oh it was 1999 old games are always gonna be janky" as if the man who made this game didnt proceed to become imfamous for his most well known games being almost nothing but quicktime events right after this

Looking forward to "no longer friends revengance"

What did David Cage mean by having the player unalive their current host in order to have the nice farmer mole alien be susceptible to being possessed by a video gamer just so they can direct an alien beast of burden to move some rocks that takes about 30 seconds, instead of just asking them and ending the consciousness of two intelligent beings?

I played that game when I was 13 or 14, at a time when I didn't realize game could be bad, I just thought you were bad at video game when you couldn't finish them. I actually have some good memories of the game, my mom was a big Bowie Fan and I remember collecting his songs in game and listening with her. Pretty sure I stopped because I couldn't get through a gun fight in the second sector. I was constantly stressed by the limited number of saves. It wasn't a good game by any means, but I do have some good memories of the music and design, I remember being obsessed with the demon design.
