Personally I think I most love the Navigators Bible Reading Plan (kind of like a modern M'Cheyne) and the Navigators Book at a Time Reading Plan. I like TGC's version of M'Cheyne too.

I also love the Bible Reading Chart. It's similar to Matthew Everhard's Bible reading plan where you read any book in any order you want and you mark off each chapter as you go. The main difference is the Bible Reading Chart is more colorful whereas Everhard's is in black and white.

Finally I love Every Word in the Bible. Especially for "beginners" of any age!

Tolle lege! 😊

I've used the TableTalk plan for the past few years. It has 1 reading from the OT and NT daily. The weekend is at your pace. I normally do my OT on Saturday and NT on Sunday.

Thanks brother

I took one of G3’s devo pdfs and will be using the reading plan and added other things to the devo

Personally I’ve struggled with one-year Bible reading plans. Too often it’s turned into a tick-box exercise. Stephen Witmer’s two-year reading plan has been on the other hand an immense blessing. Available from TGC it takes you through the Old and New Testament in 2 years, and the Psalms and Proverbs 4 times in a year. Our church then modified it further as we found waiting 17 months to read the New Testament was too long, and so swapped a couple of the Psalms and Proverbs readings with an additional set of readings through the New Testament.

I've modified the M'Cheyne reading plan for this year. Moving some of the reading around in order a little bit but essentially reading the new testament backwards through the book and forward at the same time. Then reading from the beginning of the old testament and the beginning of the prophets at the same time. Readying twice what M'Cheyne has per day. Half way through the year it will flip and follow the M'Cheyne exactly but at double the pace. At the end of the year I'll have read the New Testament 4 times and the Old twice. So far this seems like a drop in the bucket as far as time commitment and it's built really to build and maintain familiarity with the story of the Bible as a whole. I have a separate study time where I'm going verse by verse in greater detail.

Ironically as I was heading to a used bookstore, I was listening to this video in the car and low and behold, the bookstore had the “Unfolding Grace” both the book and the study guide completely unmarked. Snagged them both for $7, this very second! God is soo good! Thank you.

May I ask, could you please share your Bible marking system? If there’s already a video where this is mentioned, please kindly share. If not, a simple comment reply will suffice.

If I may suggest, how about a reading plan that is nowhere to be found as no one has ever done it. A complete cross reference reading plan. For every verse, one compiles all the cross references from various bibles and then begins.

hi again, are you going to continue using the navigators bible reading plan in the future?🤗🤗🤗🤗

A plan so you can circumvent all the horrible crap God has done and just read all the joyful parts?
