There are many great books to get one started, but the top five that were fundamental to my faith in the early years were these:

1. Holiness of God - R.C. Sproul
2. Knowing God - J.I. Packer
3. The Potter’s Freedom - James White
4. Erasing Hell - Francis Chan
5. The Pursuit of God - A.W. Tozer

There are so many others that I can list but these were very timely in my context.

Great stuff brother, thanks for sharing these!

Appreciate this ! without an  accurate  understanding of covenant theology one cannot see infant baptism, this was the hardest for me to comprehend after coming to true faith late in life and coming out of Romanism. God since the start of creation covenants with his creatures (Covenant of works) To GOD be the glory!

Five books I would recommend, A Body of Divinity by Thomas Watson, Willing to Believe by R C Sproul, Christianity and Liberalism byJ Gresham Machen, Sovereignty of God by A W Pink, All of Grace by Charles Spurgeon. I would start with All of Grace (96 pages ,only £3 to buy)

Nice, now my Christmas wish list has 6 more books haha

Thanks for the video. If I had to come up with 5 books that changed how I think - it would be 1) Chosen by God (Sproul) together with (cheating here) the Reformed Doctrine of Predestination (Boettner), 2) 2000 years of Christ’s power particularly volume 1 (Needham), 3) A Case for Amillennialism (Riddlebarger), 4) All that is in God (Dolezol), 5) Christ and Covenant Theology (Venema). Hard to limit it to just 5!

Comments I get on my channel when I talk about books (passing on the love brother). “Reading books is bad! You just gotta read the Bible like no one has ever read it before and also like you have never read it before. Don’t write anything down and definitely don’t make logical connections between passages that lead to doctrines.”

Same here. I hated Reformed theology and was a backsliders but I returned....

You read the books Christian Baptism by John Murray, have you ever thought to read ‘Covenant Theology: A Reformed Baptist Perspective’ by Douglas Van Dorn to see it from another perspective?

You can be very serious in your faith without being a Calvinist. (BTW, all Protestants are Reformed—  Calvinism unfortunately hijacked the term).
There are also many great authors that you can read, which do not have a Calvin framework.
