the fact that musashi kills yoshitsune by using the double blade form, which he was known for using IN REAL LIFE, is really the cherry on top. peak game

The japanese voice actor of Yoshitsune is goated. He gave him so much life.

Capcom has a simple goal "We need to make a villain more memorable than Nobunaga Oda", and they over deliver in all aspects possible

It warms my heart seeing other people suffer the same way I did lol

@mohammadamaan3140 3 weeks ago

Musashi finished him off with niten ichi ryu which is a sword style created by him which uses 2 swords 1 long and 1 short

Bruh I'm fucking hype when I defeated him in second state and I thought it's finished then the 3rd state came out I was like oh shit I'm fucked😂

They made me realize that throughout the entire game, I never once just regularly blocked. I only parried, or Ishened. I didnt learn about deflect until this boss. It works great against him by the way. The whole time im watcing them Im just screaming parry that, parry that, Ishen that.

I love how most of the fight is just musashi and yoshitsune stabbing the everloving shit out of eachother, only for them to shrug it off and carry on like nothing happened.

Something that's cool about this fight lore wise is that up until the last round where Musashi has to use Oni Form contextually he's fighting Yoshitsune, the man who bent Hell to his will, who's right now on his prime form he was fighting him and matching him blow for blow as a HUMAN since he lost the Genma souls, holy upscale

The voice acting of Shinichiro Miki, paired with the facial expressions and this completely unhinged personality Yoshitsune has in this game made him a instance best of all time for me

It was 3 a.m. and I had reached the final boss. I told myself, "Okay, one hour to beat him, see the ending, and go to sleep"—but the next thing I knew, it was 6 a.m. and I still hadn't managed to kill him. I had to give up and go to sleep; I was able to beat him later that same day.

All these people forgot to use circle and dodge when he did the heavy attack.

My final winning attempt on this boss was over 16 minutes long. I felt like I had just run a marathon by the end of it 😅
