The older fifa 13 cards looked so good. It felt like handling money. The gold, non rare, silver cards. Just felt different

Played every FIFA since fifa 15, for me its the gameplay. Game turned from a fast pace, skilled game into a slower, defensive tactic game. That combined with attacking/defending AI getting worse every year.

I have been playing the old fifas recently, its not just nostalgia the games actually feel different.
Fifa 14 . 15 and 17 are completely different. The gameplay,menus, colors.
The "FC Era" every single FC is the same, I cant even tell the difference between 25 and 26 after all the patches 26 had  (For me , fc 26 at launch was great)

What killed fifa is the core of the game the DDA system that they deny

I’m 44 and from Denmark. I’ve played every single FIFA/FC since 1998. EA lost me when we could win “Pink Elephants” in UT, change the color of the lines. They ruined the atmosphere of football. Then made it competitive to make more money. The football has left FC and FC 26 was my last football game from EA. Going back to play FIFA 07 and 08 on my Xbox 360.

Not just FIFA, but football. People are starting to realize how it is all a huge waste of time, especially now with betting houses. Football is a business, moved by money. It's not a sport anymore, only dumb or naive people still believe it is.
Regarding FIFA, scripting, handicap, very arcady gameplay in Ultimate Team ruins the experience. Way too much special cards, greed... The game itself doesn't even matter anymore.

Never felt this greed before...

imo its too much just keep it simple. yes it gets boring but like idk thats what was good abt it

I think its just growing up , imagine your brain has to deal with not getting bored  about every second awake until you die.

For me fifa really died as soon as they introduced hypermotion V, funny bc its when fifa franchise changed the name to "eafc"

Great video the colours of the cards, etc I agree, most of the stuff you saying I agree..
But nothing we can do to change it only the big content creators has power to speak to EA..

I hate the playstyles, women in the team, the meta, the hours of time we have to put in to build a team if we don't put in cash, it is crazy.

But I overlook everything & just play & accept the game.

Plus I am making some cash from this game, so complaining won't help me...

nowadays you can pull whatever you want, but you don’t get that excited anymore like in fifa 13,14 and so on. it feels nothing special anymore. Now with evolutions no card got an individual value. And if they don’t got playstyles they’re not even playable. I’m missing the good old days where you play for the game and not for the rewards

We need to stop pretending like the addition of Women to FUT was something good. The most broken players are always woman, who we have never seen play, with stats that overboost the way they do it irl. The best players in the game used to be Cristiano, Neymar, Aguero, Pogba, Ibra. Now they are Sophia Wilson, Claudia Pina, Aitana, Hansen. No women also gave us the chance to discover players from other leagues that were OP. I remember having to buy Turkish SuperLeague players because I packed Sneijder TOTS (UT17). Playing Achempong-Texeira up front in the first couple weeks.

On top of that, stats barely matter anymore since playstyles took over. It’s better to have low driven, finesse and rapid than 90+ pace and shooting

Then the chem system and trying to link all the players in your team. We found out Lala was the best RB in UT 19 bc we needed to link Mbappe that was a RM. Now this things don’t happen anymore. You can put whoever you want by just having someone else from their team or league.

Another thing  The promos are soulless now. Futmas felt christmassy. The halloween promo gave temporary upgrades every time there was a full moon. They had a purpose.

I could keep going forever. Aesthetics of the game, no color in the menu’s, icons are not special/rare anymore, the paid game pass being impossible to get unless you buy FP, evolutions being broken, crazy promos every week etc etc etc

They had a winning formula, but rather than perfect it they sought to innovate nonsense like Accelerate types, playstyles, women, roles, etc.

For me, what was the main defining factor of why ultimate team isn’t as good as it used to be, was the power curve change in 22

Cards that were once of value,became valueless and became way too easy to obtain.

Going from using gold teams with mixtures of specials in 21, to the drastic change of 22 where it was normal to have top tier icons so early into the games yearly cycle, ruined the grind of the game immensely.

The menus since it became EAFC have been a huge downgrade. It’s the same design and layout every year with little-to-no colour. The old fifa menus were so full of colour, now they are soulless.

A better microphone is needed and also lower down the volume of the music I believe its a bit too loud.

fifa won't ever be good if theres so many promo cards  and buy everything for cash,    old fifa revival might be the best thing ever considering there won't be fifa points lol
