Currently playing an Aston Villa career on FIFA 17, 9 minute halves, slightly tweaked sliders. Absolutely loving it. A pace that feels more like football, games can be anything from end to end classics to bore draw slogs,  tackles worked, the AI made stupid mistakes, and it just FEELS right. FC 26 doesn't feel right. The look, atmosphere, aesthetics/colour grading, pace of the matches, the damn awful slidey skatey players. It just feels wrong. FIFA 17 isn't perfect, but it is holding my attention in a way the series hasn't done since around 2020.

Facts bro I’ve been playing fifa 10-17 recently way better than the current game. FIFA 15 my favourite, I’m actually getting a pc next month to play the server revival.

Now people are starting to understand why people of my generation 40+ still play championship manager especially 01/02 because it’s more fun than what’s available now.

three words:
 Peak is Peak.

It's the gameplay for sure. I recently played fifa 11 and since I started watching football in 2014 I don't really have nostalgia for it and the gameplay was actually fun to play. Realistic? No, not at all but the truth is it's a video game and video games are meant to be fun and unrealistic.

Incredible bgm choices mate🥹

Fifa 17 was the last good one ... Fifa 98 road to world cup was one of the best ...

Legend you still here, I remember watching your videos since 2020, when I just started youtube...

i had a blue diego costa he was my hero

I miss the players... I actually prefere the newer games gameplay wise but I wish they give us retro databases.

Watching this while playing fifa 14 pro career mode 😂🔥

Wow bro, great video. The older gameplay really was that good.

Does anyone know how to play fifa 17 I can’t find it anywhere on pc

I played the heck out of fifa14-16, i enjoyed 16 so much, And I never bought a FIFA afterwards, I did career mode after career mode, FiFA has always had some cheezeness to the gameplay but it wasn't awfull, i decided to try Fifa 26 and the game at first felt so refreshing it actually didn't felt that bad it was okay, but as I kept playing the issues started to become more and more glaring, it feels so wrong, i feel like I am constantly fighting the gameplay, on one game my team feels pretty good and responsive the other match everyone feels like a 60 rated player, they don't run they loose balls, can't make a pass can't shoot, and the ai just steamrolls me, on the same dificulty for no reason, and why in the world, I can steamroll top teams in the premier, but then I face Brighton and they play like the wet dream of pep guardiola with prime barcelona tikitaka.

I switch back and forth from Fifa 14 and 26 and they are complete oposites, if i concede a goal in 14 is because i made a really glaring obvious mistake, in 26 my defenders don't know what is not leaving a space open and feels like if they are afraid of the strikers cause they fukin run away from them or get behind them, and don't know how to intercept a ball,
or the strkers have no fakin clue on how to do a header, even if they 7'9 they still can't head the ball in, they are like pigs, can't fokin look up and jump hahah
Or you can have the best goal keeper in the world with perfect stats but will concede in the most stupid ways posible.
The game is just not as fun, in 14-16 was all about skill, 26 I have no clue, get a full team with playstiles+ and good luck, may EA's RNG be on your side.

Your the goat

Guys pls dont hate me but im 10 and i have a nintendo from 17/18 season and i use it now that my brothers are in boarding so its mine and OH MY i have a career mode where im 87 88? And im playing cam for RMA and im on loan to Juventus, its genuinely been one of my best experiences in my life, just playing grinding in the plane and i wonder, what does ultimate team feel like? What memories did people have? (Edit) i have 24 and 25 and fifa 18 is way better in every single aspect, teams from 2018 which i dont remember anymore because i was so young the color, the ones in 24 25 are so bad in nintendo it just looks like a green field with the lines with shit shading while fifa 18 looks like a real match the commentary, shading grass and players look real (the 24 and 25 do look real too so yeah) and it just looks good in general, from what i hear from many people that are like 16 17 maybe 18 of them having memories just coming home from school and im glad i got those memories.

Cus the current state of FIFA is shit EA really need to step their shit together if they want FIFA 27 to be a sucess
