Blue co straight up sabotaged both Chelsea and Strasbourg's seasons, not to mention that Rosenier was getting England shouts before he took on the Chelsea job, which is now definitely dead in the water. A manager of Alonso's ilk will not be going to Chelsea under their current model, and if they aren't willing to change it even after the reaction that their squad gave to Maresca's sacking and hiring of Rosenier then there is no hope for such a petulant team. They need an adult like Lyes said, but it's paradoxical to their approach, you need someone with actual experience at the top level to coach these players, but their own model will never let that person near the club. They're a btec brighton now, what an absolute failure of an identity.

nothing will change in our clubs if these owners and sporting directors won't change or leave

AV 's ball knowledge is non existent

Fuad talking about Glasner and Silva and collecting domestic cups- we're not Spurs big man. BlueCo hire that type of manager there's riots outside theBridge. BlueCo might not have standards but chelsea fans still do. Alonso is probably the best bet but none of this matters if they dont change their model

I think this would be a good move for Alonso, because despite what has been spent, and in large parts spent badly, theres still a good team in there, and the expectation wouldn't be that he has to win the league in season 1 or 2 I don't think. The squad profile really fits his footballing philosophy, the DNA of past coaches playing 3 at the back, also helps solidify them defensively using that system, young highly technical players he can mould, like Bayer and he will get the authority and respect but he is also a good man manager, because these young modern day players still at times need an arm around them.

Look at Maresca, even if worst case Alonso matches his achievements of top 4 finishes and a minor cup or 2, which is very achievable, he still comes out with an improved reputation and high on list for any top job in Europe should there be movements in the managerial market. Same as Maresca, who after a moderate job over 18 months is now the only coach in line to take over from Pep at City.

Into the mic boys...audio engineer had a rough one with this probably...

This was a whole of shame performance
