"A Room Full Of CLAPPING SEALS!" | Burnham’s Conference Speech Mocked

TalkTV

Andy Burnham’s conference speech has been mocked as detached from reality, with critics accusing him of ignoring Britain’s most pressing problems while addressing a “room full of clapping seals”.

Conservative commentator Benedict Spence joins Julia Hartley-Brewer to discuss Burnham’s economic agenda, proposed electoral reforms, Brexit stance and plans to change the pension triple lock. They debate whether his proposals reflect voters’ priorities and whether Labour risks alienating pensioners.

If they are going to throw away the pensioner's votes how many more illegals will they need to bring in to make the numbers up? There are 13 million pensioners but they no longer need their vote??

He even used his dad's death to get sympathy and to show that no matter what post code he is he's a caring and compassionate con man

Why would supposedly intelligent people need to be told when to clap at a political conference ?
Are these Labour MPs and cabinet ministers really so brainless ?
I have to presume they are considering the evidence !

Labour Party no longer represents the working class, activists who thrive off union fees, and soft government jobs and subsidies

SUPER RICH ?
"I'm 58 and I'm richer than when I was 28, what a surprise I have worked for 30 years"
"I'm not sitting there with barrels of cash counting it in the living room every night"
Why is this so hard for envious labour to understand?

Shouldn't there be a comma between hope and again?

🦉🐯 Wow! Compare and weep!
Working person (sets alarm clock to earn money)…
• The Full New ‘State Pension’: £241.30 per week (Requires roughly 35 years of work credits, NI contributions).

Feckless person (never worked or paid into the system)…
• The ‘Pension Credit’ Guarantee Minimum: £238.00 per week (Requires £0 in contributions… yep, zero NI contributions.)

On paper, the lifelong worker gets a mere £3.30 more per week from the state than someone who never paid into the system.

When you add up free rent, free council tax, and energy help, the net disposable income of the feckless person on Pension Credit can very easily outstrip the worker who has to actually pay those bills out of their £241.30 a week State Pension!
