Gateways are called "porte de transfert" wich translates as transfer door.

Passerelle is used to describe a small bridge in French

kind of counter to the proverb Lowko brought up in G1 "when ahead, get more ahead": This does not seem to work out for protoss vs terrans when massing ground in the midgame. Maxpax hits clem's army right before the first ghost can come out because he knows that his gas units are about to fall off a cliff in value. He knew his advantage was on a timer and had to execute an attack. Really impressive stuff.

Its seems like if protoss can perfectly deny any terran aggression and destroy all the medivacs that they can get a stable mid game, but if anything goes wrong like loosing a colossus its pretty much game over. We rarely see come backs from protoss v terran at this point and its kinda sad / boring because the game rests on a knifes edge, and then a robo unit gets picked off or some early pressure gets denied and then as you said, you start watching a prolonged death animation.

Terran serral vs protoss serral has to be The new thumbnail.

@Taznak 3 years ago

"Sure, Terran and Zerg dominate tournaments, but that's because they have Maru and Serral. Without Maru and Serral, the three races would look more balanced"
Now, try that exercise in reverse: Remove herO and Maxpax from the equation, and Protoss disappears entirely from top-level SC2. This game is not well balanced at top-level play.

I find it super ironic how protos is the only race that can’t a move yet is called the a move race
If you ever played protoss you know how flimsy their unit comp is. People complain about the disruptor needing one good hit when they don’t realize how weak protoss is without microing themselves

Protoss loses 30 workers: "Gg."

Terran loses 30 workers: MULE MULE MULE MULE!!

Always enjoy a great series cast by Lowko while warming up/working out! I'm the guy that finds youtube on the treadmills at the fancy gym just to watch Lowko while running.

Lowko please upload some Florencio casts or I will cement myself to your driveway like a just stop oil protestor

If maxpax and hero wasnt playing we would only be watching zerg and terran games, and even though ppl love to hate on toss, i honestly think that would be the beginning of the end for sc2. The suggested new balance patch is not the answer. More drastic changes are needed.

@Niclmaki 3 years ago (edited)

Ooh, what a swing. Max was so dominant at first. Crazy

@viniciussardenberg706 3 years ago (edited)

really shows how imbalanced this match up is. reason being that MMM ball is invincible without AOE and none of the Toss AoE options are viable in the lategame, storm/archon gets emp'd dodging a disruptor shot really is one stim click and vikings shred both colossus and skytoss so what can protoss do in a lategame scenario? ghost emp removing shields really is too broken to stay in the game imo, archons would be a viable unit for lategame toss but as of now 2 supply of ghost can kill 12 supply of archons and that just isnt fair.
