Looks pretty sharp with the vinyl roof as others have said patience pays of excellent work Ken 👍👍

Dang man you have the patience of a saint! Your customer should be very happy! Now has a one of a kind model!
Looks better than I thought it would!
😉😊👌🏻
I feel your pain!😮

I've watched a couple of your how too s on vinyl tops thoroughly enjoyed them even though I have no plans to do one since I hate them in real life

Ken, you are a brave - and very patient - man! If you recall my blue Charger with the white vinyl top that I sent you pictures of, it’s the only white top I have done. I do all of mine with tape but I brush on Tamiya semi-gloss black. I never could get the right sheen for the white so I applied strips of tape to a sprue , sprayed it with Rust Oleum Satin White, then applied it to the model. I was very satisfied with the result, except for a wrinkle in one of the B pillars that I never could get out. Yours came out looking great, as always!

This looks very interesting, I've got 3 AMT kits that could use this technique. Cars do offer a lot more challenges and creativity that aircraft and military vehicles. I'm tempted to
" bash " an old tank Tamiya kit like a finally polished colorful show car 🤓 Model on BOB

Dear Model Building in Retirement,🥰
Would you be interested in reviewing our DM229?It’s based on the world’s first car, and it actually moves!😆

Hi Ken. Nice job!  Having watched your previous vinyl top video, I was wondering why you decided to use tape to achieve the surface texture rather than going exclusively with paint?  Which do you prefer?
