This is a full-fledged " bangla kheyal", though the words - "drume drume lata lata pata pata" - are hardly recognisable. Spurious, self-proclaimed "bangla kheyal"  singers of today should listen to this to curb their vanity.

Thanks a million for this outstanding gift. I thought this great jewel was lost for ever! It was one of Tarapada Babu’s favourite ragas!
I remember listening to him singing Chhaya Hindol accompanied by Manas-da in the early 60’s in a ghoroa ashor on Chowringhee Terrace.
