Man I just found your channel and I’m loving it because it’s affirming all of the decisions I’ve made thus far! 😂 Multiple cheaper cameras ✅ cheaper (but quality) gear ✅, good editing PC ✅, LLC & business bank account ✅, create content always ✅, create website ✅. Be a decent human ✅✅✅. I can’t wait to finish the rest of the video and see what else I’m doing right lol.

Yeah man. I tried to jump right in to filming in S-log and I quickly learned that it’s not the move for newbies. It just makes post production so much more difficult! The one thing I’m curious about is auto white balance though! That is surprising to me. Having your white balance shift mid shot sounds like a big no-no to me lol. I would HAPPILY shoot AWB if I could feel confident my colors wouldn’t shift in the middle of my clips though.

This is gold, thanks so much for sharing!

great as always.

I'm a beginner still finding my way in various areas of video production. Recently, I encountered something for the first time that threw me off a bit. In short, I prefer filming at 29.97 fps (as it seems to give the 'cleanest' look, and panning shots from left to right are smoother). However, here in Europe, if you're filming indoors, you generally need to shoot at 25 fps because of artificial lighting.
As a result, I ended up with both 25 and 29.97 fps in a 29.97 fps timeline, which has been a real headache. My quick advice to anyone in Europe is to stick to either 25 or 50 fps to avoid issues like this. Great content by the way – I just subscribed!
