93.86 strike rate in that era ... Salute sir 🙏❣️

Bigger boundaries, smaller bats, no helmets,
Viv the champion.

Viv has a Lion's Heart. Facing likes of Dennis and Thomson without helmet and ducking Bouncers. You got to be kidding Sir Richards.
Bravest Cricketer I have ever seen.

No better batsmen than Viv, can watch him all day. Thanks for the memories Viv!

Viv Richards so fearless, no protection at all gets hit with a bouncer from one of the fastest bowlers of all time and just laughs it off. What a champ

Legend. When grounds were real grounds. Had he been playing these days  would have scored a century daily.

There will never ever be another Viv. Style, courage, technic, quality and above all dominance.

Remember watching Grenidge and Haynes opening. Getting one of them out mid afternoon and then you heart would sink when Viv Richards came out! Great, great batsman

Viv Richards is just unparallel. I feel he played even the test matches like T20. One of the best batsman the cricketing world has ever produced.

playing cricket without helmet is courageous but being super aggressive without helmet is to a fast bowler is extra ordinary.

Viv Richards had a gift of sharp eyesight...he could see the ball fraction of a second earlier than other batsmen....As Gavaskar has said ...that most of the time Richards got out it was when he got bored, that was the genius of Sir Vivian Alexander Richards!!

The legendary man who played without helmet against legendary bowlers... Cheeka told in an interview that Sir Richards mentioned he will be retiring from cricket when the day he wants to wear Helmet for protection...such a Brave king Richards ❤️

Viv's body language , that's a bonafide Badass Man out there , ain't scared of anybody  🔥

Viv Richards always looked like he was taking a lazy walk in the park whilst cleaning up the best cricketers in the world. Astonishing.

no protection at all,  cool as ice, perfect poise, power, and accuracy, for me viv is the greatest batsman 🙂🙂

Most magical moment in this clip, was when Dennis Lillee turned into Devon Malcolm

When it was a bowler’s game... A fair game😍

One of the best, bravest and the most talented batsmen in the world ever produced. Played against the top bowlers of all time and has an excellent record. King Viv you are still the best your presence is an inspiration to others

Richards and Lara ,two gems of West indies cricket.

This was really the glorious days of beautiful cricket. Observing Viv in flight use to bring joy to one's heart. I just love this man
