This show really is that post about how like "in the 90's a show called surfer dog would be about the surfing dog but now its 9 episodes of nothing and the 10th is where the dog gets the surfboard"

I could listen to Gaël talk LOTR and Silmarillion lore for literal hours. Best parts of the video.

Watching Adam play the recorder over the Gandalf reveal while Gael rushes through the 7 stages  of grief is a better experience than watching the show

"Unearned" really is this show's motto. Everything is treated like an epic moment but they never want to do the leg work necessary to make the actions have weight.

"We learned many words for death."
- Youtube creators when they had to start saying "unalive"

This looks like a billion dollar porn parody of Lord of the Rings… but they cut out the porn.

"Please don't be Gandalf" said Gael cluelessly

Adam making Gaël watch rings of power has similar energy to Mike making Rich watch star trek discovery

i hate how none of the casted actors have any screen presence. they would literally blend in with the background characters if it wasnt for them looking so clean.

watched the whole vid just to see you guys react to the Mordor title reveal. not disappointed

Jeff: "TOLKIEN WAS A ABLE TO BUILD THIS IN A CAVE! WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!"

Writer: "Well, I'm sorry. I'm not Tolkien."

Adam forcing Gael to watch RoP like Morgoth forcing Hurin to watch the evils that befell his family and fall into despair.

The title implies that Adum and Gaelle are no longer Palz, and that this project was the breaking point of their relationship.

“I’m not ready for season 2 to be worse than this” is a Shakespearean-level tragic statement, they are in for it if they actually watch season 2.

32:23 Sauron, the lord of darkness, gets successfully ragebaited and tweaks out like he’s a Redditor imagining himself in a fight

Gael claiming not to be a real Tolkien nerd is very funny considering his passionate disappointment at the end lmao

Why are you torturing your dog like that

My condolences for Gaël's goodwill & sanity.

You know what makes this rings of power show situation worse? Is the fact that during the early development of the show, there was a literal Lord of the Rings scholar who understood the JRR Tolkien literature and lore, who even helped Peter Jackson with the lord of the rings movies, yet they decided to fire him…. They practically shot themselves in the foot and BEGGED for failure…..

I love how Adum has a stockpile of Kimba clips on his hard drive to deploy whenever a similar scenario plays out.
