For those who haven't already, I would really appreciate it if you would subscribe.

I don't like to ask for likes or subscriptions often (even though I often do so at the end of my videos lol) because I really just make content for the fun of it, but it would really show your support and mean a lot to me if you did. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Minecraft’s Remembered Copied Creative Mode

As somebody who has been playing Minecraft since the classic days in 2009:
The real fun of Survival test was playing it on User-created maps! Back then everybody who bought Minecraft had 5 online slots to save their own levels into, and you could share those with other people to play. Some people built adventure maps and apocalypse-type maps with mushrooms added to the map and those were pretty fun in survival test. Sadly the online saves were removed at some point, I think that's a lot of Minecraft classic content that was lost to time.

Minecraft classic adventure used two types of mechanics for progress: Either colored wool as keys (You find the key, you are allowed to break doors of that wool color), or frozen sand/gravel that is activated by breaking a block next to it and opens doors etc.

Fun fact: it was possible to play survivaltest on Minecraft Classic servers! All the mobs you saw were client-side so it had no effect on the server, but otherwise it worked the same as when playing offline.

My favorite versions of infdev are after infinite worlds but before alpha generation with the classic cliffs everywhere generation. These versions are so cool

I always like finding other small Minecraft content creators like myself. I just subbed! (:

Fascinating, thank you!

it would be neat if they did an anniversary remake for this version too (maybe the 20th?), i was disapointed that the classic version they used for the browser remake was just some random version of early classic (not even the first version publicly released like they marketed it as)

this was great to eat my soup to!

You could save in survivaltest, but the feature was broken by Mojang's Microsoft account migration unfortunately. There may be a launcher that fixes it, idk, but it essentially plays as "unregistered" from what I can guess. I actually have a save in survivaltest from before the account migration. I can load it but I can't update it or make any new saves. It's probably not difficult to crack, but I don't know if anyone has really cared or noticed before, and I certainly don't know how to bypass the drm. It's unfortunate. But with enough attention, surely someone will figure it out. There might even be an alternative launcher that handles it correctly. I don't know.

Hi maddie I missed you how you doin lovely

Someone should make a mod that expands on this version of the game and adds a lot of content to flesh it out...

...at least something that works on Linux easy heh
