So happy you found a use for my terrible little divider!! Great video, it was so hard knowing what this was for months and waiting for the upload, but it just shows all the effort you, Shay and Sloi put into this ❤🔥

I just find it funny how every time he shows the program developed in the 60s it's with python

Dude, so impressive, I didn't even KNOW overloaded signal strength existed, good job! :)

Crazy upload timing... Guess what was discussed in my Computer Graphics Uni class today... LINE DRAWING using Bresenham's algorithm. The coincidence is unbelievable.

My favorite genre of redstone project is one that felt impossible like 6 hours ago but you suddenly find yourself done with the impossible part

19:31 Properinglish mentioned! I was casual buds with him back in the day, and we worked out how to make the first "instant-carry adders". Obsolete tech by modern standards, but a big deal back then.

Great video!
I think there's another possible solution that allows for larger screens without using signal strength overloading.
You could use a binary signal to mark the midpoint of the segment on the screen and use the Redstone signal to "extend" the point outwards; this would always result in an odd length, but you could use a buffer to subtract one from the Redstone signal on one side to achieve even lengths.
This way, you can create segments ranging from 1 to 29 pixels.
I'm Spanish but know a little English; I used Google Translate for this comment, so please point out any errors.

The Bresenham algorithm is like a fixed point algorithm, but instead of using a power of two as the scaling factor, the scaling factor is 2x the major axis. If you wanted to convert the error term to floating point, you'd divide it by 2x the major axis. One of the drawbacks to Bresenham is that it's only allows you to start and end on integer coordinates, which isn't good for clipping, where a clipped portion of the line is better represented as having non-integer coordinates so that the pixels lit up land on the same ones as the unclipped line. But understanding that Bresenham is just a fixed point algorithm with an arbitrary scaling factor, it's possible to compute an initial error term that allows you to compute exactly the right pixels when drawn clipped.
